Aah, that's nice. Before you know it, you'll have your little one in your arms and you'll miss being pregnant a bit, haha.

Haha, yeah, that's what many people say.
  3. proud_mommy #23

    Haha
I’d love to have a second one, but I still want to enjoy my little one.

There's always time for a second one! How old is your first?
  5. proud_mommy #25

Yes exactly haha, he's 8 months old.

Ahh, such a cute little boy! Enjoy it
  7. proud_mommy #27

Yes indeed, haha I'm really enjoying it. You too, right? Now and when the little one is here.

Yesterday I had another ultrasound. Everything is completely fine! Baby is growing well, the heartbeat was perfect, so I was happy and reassured again. The father wasn't there though. I didn't expect him to show up, but somewhere deep down I still had that hope since it's his child too. Unfortunately, he wasn't there. For me, this shows he's not really involved. He's already telling friends he's going to give up his parental rights, and he's even doubting if he's the father. Well, the fact that he didn't show up says enough for me, so I'm drawing a line now.

That's so nice that everything is okay. Those ultrasounds are so special, right?
Oh, what a sweetheart. For him, it was a loss, girl.

Congratulations, girls!! I’d love to chat, I’m not a teenage mom, I’m 25 but it sounds nice and cozy to join in!
  11. proud_mommy #31

I'm 25 too, not a teenage mom haha. But there are young moms out there though.

Definitely drawing a line under the relationship with your baby's dad seems like the best option. Being a single mom isn't always easy, but dealing with a man who isn't honest and doesn't know what he wants is even worse. 20 is a great age to have your first child. It's young, but you won't be labeled a teenage mom anymore. You're going to do this fantastically, girl!

Yes exactly, he's missing out on a lot of beautiful things

Hi, nice that you're joining! Welcome

The way he behaves isn't mature, and I don't want someone like him in my baby's life. It's sad for him, but he should have turned things around from day 1. I'll just do it on my own (I've always said I want to be a young mom and prefer doing it alone). This way, you avoid a lot of hassle and misery haha...

Got to hear yesterday that the father told people he doesn't want the kid, he's going to give it up, and that he's not even the father because he supposedly spoke to the 'real' father... really low of him to think he can get away with it with such remarks. Honestly, I can only laugh about it. He knows very well that he's the father, and sooner or later he'll get that feeling of 'oh shit, I've got a kid running around'. I hope he really does give it up then, because a father who spouts such nonsense doesn't even deserve to be a father.
The good news is that I felt the little one kick for the first time today!!

That special feeling is when he moves your baby! It's really annoying that he's acting like that, because sooner or later it'll come out that he's the real father... The harder he pushes back, the more he'll have to stand by it. If I were you, I'd definitely try to get him recognized as the father on paper after the birth, even if it means going through a DNA test ordered by the court. Just to remind him for the rest of his life that he has a kid out there. And of course, because he should financially contribute. If two people have sex, they both share responsibility in this case Oh, just as the father on paper, so no parental authority

    Hi there,
I was 17 when I got pregnant with my little girl, and 18 when I gave birth.
With good support from friends and family, you'll get through it for sure.
    Good luck!

Everything will always work out! I'm happily positive, and that already makes a big difference Did you do it together with the father of your daughter?
