Hi everyone,
I have a question. I'm 30 years old and have been trying to get pregnant for a year now, but without success. So I've consulted my GP and had a blood test done. The test showed that I have antibodies for chlamydia. I haven't had a wild sex life and have been in a stable relationship for 5 years. I also haven't had any symptoms. Now I'm really worried. I got a referral to a gynecologist, but I can only see them on October 16th. So I still have to wait 2 weeks, but I've already been waiting for 2 weeks and all sorts of scenarios are running through my head. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Wow, that’s quite a shock. But you don’t need to have had a wild sex life to get it. One time having unprotected sex with someone who has it can cause an infection. Has your boyfriend been tested too?
Wishing you lots of strength while waiting for the gynecologist, and I hope it doesn’t affect your fertility.

    Eeey falca.
My boyfriend hasn't tested them yet because they're antibodies. Dst means traces. I have to wait for the gynecologist first.

That's true, do they have an idea how long ago you might have caught it? Or whether he was at risk of catching it from you, or if you got it from him? I don't know his history, of course. Better to play it safe until then.
