Hi hi,
I'm 27 weeks pregnant and went from 85 to 100 kilos, so I've gained 15 kilos!
The midwife practice found this very shocking because it's "normal" to gain this weight during the entire pregnancy.

I feel really bad now, what can I do about it? It's not like I live on cola, chips, cookies, and chocolate because I always drink crystal clear, eat varied with lots of fruit and veggies, and move enough daily!

Besides, I also know stories of women who gained 30 kilos in total.
Or started with a much higher weight!

Is this really such a shocking story?!

I’d have that conversation with them and discuss what you’re eating and how much you’re moving. Everyone is different. You might also be retaining a lot of fluid... But then I don’t think they’d say anything.
It’s not good to get stressed about it, so definitely talk to them or your GP.
