Unfortunately, my joy was short-lived; she sees nothing, and the other gynecologist sees nothing either.
Maybe it's outside the uterus, but there are no signs of that. I don't have pain on one side either; it's a mystery. They're drawing blood again tomorrow evening to get the results.
Just got out of the hospital, my ovaries look great. Let that be some comfort in this story, the uterus is indeed empty. Lots of endometrial lining. HCG was injected and is now 1200, so it's on the way down. That's a good sign. Probably my fertilized egg is in one of my fallopian tubes and my body is now getting rid of it. If my HCG had risen, they would have had to operate immediately. If I experience any severe pain, I need to go back. I had the option to stay but I'd rather go home. In my own bed..
Now I'm kind of done with the failed pregnancies. I'll wait for all the blood tests etc. But I'm going to leave it up to fate now. All the ovulation apps and such are gone and just continue with my life.
Who knows, maybe it'll happen again the right way. But for now, I'm done with it. Wishing everyone else lots of luck and joy. I hope you all get to hold a beautiful, healthy baby in your arms in a few months.
Wow, Dani, that's really tough. I'm sorry it turned out like that. Hopefully, it'll work out soon and become a permanent thing, and you'll get to enjoy your miracle soon!
