First baby, 3rd round

Sannedjx
Hi ladies,

After stopping the pill, I had a cycle of 31-28-36 days, so not really regular yet...

I started using evening primrose oil and wheat germ oil... can't do any harm, seems like it to me. I read good stories about it on various forums.

Are there more ladies here trying for their first baby?
It would be nice to chat about it here and keep each other updated!
Greetings,
Sanne

Hi Sanne! That's so lovely and exciting! Shame your cycle isn't regular yet. Are you using ovulation tests? We're also trying for our first baby. We're now in round 7. I've also started using wheat germ oil and a multivitamin this month.

Yeah, I use that too. This second round, I managed to find my ovulation nicely. But last round, I gave up after 1.5 weeks because I couldn't find it... now it makes sense since my cycle was 36 days back then... I should've stuck with it a bit longer.
I don't want to get so worked up about it, but it's pretty hard to avoid.
It's exciting for you... Do you have a regular cycle?

Okay. But if it's so irregular, it also means a lot of testing... And then you're really busy with it. But anyway, you do that subconsciously, right? At least, I didn't want to think about it at all this month, so I didn't do any tests or anything. But still, it keeps running through my head every day. I was regular right after stopping. 28 days. But not for the last 3 months. Especially the part after ovulation. I always got my period exactly 14 days later, but now once much later and once much earlier. While my ovulation stayed the same. I wouldn't know for this month... I didn't do any ovulation tests. And around my expected ovulation, I started a course of antibiotics. I didn't feel anything at all now, while I usually feel everything around my ovulation. So I have no idea how it's going to go. Where are you in your cycle now?

What a nerve-wracking thing it is, right..
I also decided not to do any tests this month, but I'm afraid I still want to know too much when it will happen..
I got my period last Monday, so in a little over a week I'll probably do some more tests..
Hope that with the help of those pills things become more regular, but I can't complain if I look around me.
It's always tricky with antibiotics, and it's hard that your period suddenly lasts longer; sometimes the body just feels weird..

Okay, another round ahead! Exciting again. Well, the body is weirdly put together...

Here’s a regular cycle after a miscarriage at 4 weeks in January, still very early.

Now round 4, here’s my story:
On 3/7 I had my period after a few negative pregnancy tests, but still did a blood test on 8/7. Again negative.. my period didn’t come. On the advice of my GP, I made an appointment with a gynecologist today on 19/7. Two days ago I did an ovulation test to see if it was coming. Still no period... a smiley. Couldn’t resist and did a pregnancy test afterwards. And it was positive.. 2 days of stress, really! Excited and very curious if everything is okay now and if it stays.. within an hour the long-awaited answer..

How exciting! Do you know more yet?
  9. Bloempje #10

Phew, exciting! Hopefully it went up nicely next time! Here everything is calm... I guess Monday was my egg approximately... So still calmly on the waiting bench.
  10. Bloempje #11

In this table, you can see what the values are approximately per week.

Thank you, Bloempje, I hope it’s a hit for you too
Waiting is the most annoying part, yes!
Thanks! According to the schedule, I should be between 4 and 5 weeks now... so exciting! I’ll definitely keep you updated!!
  12. Bloempje #13

Yeah, I hope so too! I've decided to test on Wednesday. I can never wait for my due date, haha. When did you have to get your blood tested again?
  13. Danio Guest #14

    Hey Bloempje

I have to go on Monday or Tuesday, but I think I'll just go on Monday.. I really can't wait..
Hahaha I've never been able to wait until my period, but now the opposite is proven because I was negative until a week after my period and then positive.
I do have sore breasts, lower abdomen, I slept until 1:30 PM and since then I've been hanging out on the couch as if I've been awake since 6 AM and sorry for the info but I'm extremely gassy.. I'm trying not to think too much about it but that just doesn't work. When would you go if you were me? I went on Thursday, now I can choose between Monday or Tuesday?
  14. Bloempje #15

Pfff... the weather isn't really cooperating either. Makes you feel a bit down, doesn't it? So I've had a lot of ailments already haha. Well, it's a sign that everything's okay, right? I'd go on Monday if I could choose haha. So impatient. Hihi
  15. Danio Guest #16

Haha okay then I'll go on Monday I'll keep you posted! I'll hear from you once you've done the test.
  16. Bloempje #17

Awesome! Yeah, it'll work out fine.
  17. Bloempje #18

    And thenio?
  18. Dani90 #19

    Hi Bloempje,
That's so sweet of you to care! I'm afraid I might get some bad news.
This morning I had blood drawn, and they're picking up the results tonight at 5:30 PM, so maybe tonight, but probably not until tomorrow.
Since this morning, every time I need to pee, there's a bit of pink spotting.
The blood test will tell us, no severe abdominal pain, just some occasional twinges, but I've already cried a lot this morning.
As soon as I know, I'll let you know.
You're going to test on Wednesday, right??
  19. Bloempje #20

@ Sanne how are you? Have you started testing yet?
@dani do you know more already? I'm rooting for you!
I tested this morning with a Kruidvat test and a sensitive test. Both showed a faint line, so hopefully they'll become clearer this week.
