Which stroller for a 18-month-old baby?

Hi moms,

I'm looking for a different stroller for my 18-month-old son because his head is hitting the sun canopy of ours, and his feet are resting on the edge. My son is about 80cm tall, so he's already too big for the stroller I have!

I was considering a Quinny Buzz, but when I tested it, I already noticed that his head would only have 1-2 cm of clearance left. My son doesn't walk independently yet, so I expect him to be in it for quite a while. (And we're hoping for a second child in the future.) I'd also like one with air-filled tires because we walk a lot in the woods, so it needs to handle some bumps well.

I do have a folding buggy, but I find it terrible! I'm too tall and constantly bump into it, and the wheels are too small.

Any recommendations? Any tips?

I have a double stroller, own brand baby dump. It runs very well in the woods, has good pneumatic tires. Easy to take apart and put back together, comes with a carrycot (for later when you have baby number 2) and a regular seat, which can be turned forward or backward (they should fit up to 4 years, if you want to keep them in the stroller that long). And the push handle is height adjustable. I'm very happy with it. My daughter is also 18 months old and still fits in it just fine. I'm not saying this is the stroller for you, my tip is to go to baby stores and try out a few in the shop. Then you can see what you like, what fits in terms of size, and then you can decide whether you want to buy a new one or look for that brand second-hand on, for example, Marktplaats.
