Hi everyone,
We also decided to go for it in late April
On 19/4 I took my last pill and on 21/4 I got my period. My first natural period was on 29/5 (a 35-day cycle). Today I got my period again (after 36 days). I was a bit disappointed since I was going to take a test tomorrow.
But we're only two cycles in, so I'm not letting it get me down. I'm already happy that my cycle got back on track so quickly after almost 18 years of pill use.
For now, I don't want to start using ovulation tests and stuff yet, and I just want to wait and see
Wishing you all lots of success too!
They're checking if I have chlamydia. Apparently, it's an STI you can carry without knowing it, and it can cause your fallopian tubes to close up. But since I've had the same partner for 13 years, I don't expect anything out of the ordinary. I'm currently sitting in the waiting room waiting for a blood draw... Brrr... still scary!
Hi ladies,
Sorry for not being in touch for a while.
D.L., that’s really tough. I really hope things work out for you soon.
Last Friday was my expected period. No period, so I took a test on Saturday. Not pregnant.
I waited a few days before taking another test.
Unfortunately, I got my period on Monday, 3 days late. Pretty weird, because I usually have a 28-day cycle... And now that we’re trying to conceive, everything changes overnight... Hmmmmm
So we’re going for round 2! No idea when my expected period will be this month. I’m guessing late July, early August. This month I want to start using ovulation tests. I’ll start next weekend. Then we’ll see when my ovulation is. But mainly, let’s just take it easy and not stress too much. After all, no one gets sick from that! Hahaha
Wishing everyone lots of success! I’m rooting for you all!
Oh, that's so sad that you got your period after all! Hopefully, more luck in the second round.
I should have my first ovulation within a week (since we're trying to get pregnant). So exciting!
You always see it, Ef; like your body knows and is messing with you, right? Good luck on round two, girl! Unfortunately, still not pregnant here, but hopefully soon!
