Of course, we can't do any more than that, and it'll probably stay that way. Sometimes things just go wrong no matter what, and there's nothing we can do about it! -

I had a week during my first pregnancy (in January) where I tested positive all week, but the lines were very faint. There was clearly a test line, and because I really wanted to tell my partner, I decided not to get a blood test, even on the advice of many people here. Later on, it turned out I was pregnant, but my hCG levels were too low and they weren't rising, which you could also see on the tests. After a week, it ended in an early miscarriage, but I have to say I got my period four or five days after it was due, and I think you're already past that point?
I've also read a lot of what Orchidea said, that women just never test positive strongly and are actually pregnant.
The only thing you can do is wait patiently. Are you not taking any more tests now? I was really testing every day to see what was happening and to compare. Too curious, me.... -

I think your last test is a bit on the low side, but as far as I know, it should have been much higher. Now let's hope you're one of the exceptions, girl, but I'd stay a bit realistic, as clautjuh already said.
I'm rooting for you! -

Hi Kimberly, yes, that's right, I'm already past my due date.
Due date was May 23rd, so that would mean I'm at +8 days today and thus 5 weeks + 2 days pregnant. However, I don't believe it at all based on my tests.
I'll test again on Sunday and then just go to the appointment. I'm not going to test every day anymore, it's driving me crazy

I hope so too!!! I would really love to talk to someone who has been through this too, if you know anyone, I'd love to hear from you
P.S. You're all amazing, it really touches my heart that you're so kind to me (even though you don't know me at all).

I still remember I also had a very light test, quite close to 5 weeks. It was a house brand test strip with measurement. I didn't test again afterwards because I had fairly clear symptoms anyway. But every pregnancy is different anyway, as I'm constantly reminded, and hormones vary from person to person too. -

The word 'early' was missing before 'measure' in the message above

Thank you so much, Nienke, this helps me out a bit! I'm just hoping for good news on Monday, although I do need to be realistic and know that things could go wrong. It's just so welcome and we want it so much
Thanks for your message xx -

A bit of a gross picture, ladies! But I've already had brown/white mixed mucus for 2-3 days now. -

Well, I'm a nurse, so I don't find anything gross that easily
This is some discharge with some old blood. It's hard to say what the reason is. -

Hihi Oh, now I know who to turn to with my crazy questions. Hihi
I get occasional twinges and also very bad headaches and I'm tired, hoping that my body is now making extra hormones. And that it'll be Monday soon so we can get rid of this uncertainty
It's sweet of you to think of me for a bit, clautjuh xx -

Old blood indeed, I'm pretty used to it, I work in the security sector. Then you see more than just some blood haha! But as clautjuh says, old blood indeed, isn't this usually present during implantation too? -

I had a regular cycle, but my tests were much lighter this time compared to my first baby, and they didn't rise as quickly. In the end, at the 8-week ultrasound, I turned out to be 4 days less pregnant than I thought. There are so many reasons for that... and whatever clautjuh says too... no bleeding and an ultrasound showing a nice beating heart give some reassurance and certainty. Discharge or even bleeding doesn't mean anything. Hope everything continues to go well. -

Hello dear ladies,
My day didn't go as I hoped today. I just had to rush to the midwife. This is because I lost blood with painful lower back pain and stinging in my pubic area.
On the ultrasound, a small round spot was visible, so small that I might not even be 5+3 days yet.
Now, this could be from implantation or maybe a miscarriage
, which I was so terribly afraid of. I just had blood drawn to check the hCG levels; based on that, they can say how things are looking a bit. Although I fear the worst.
I have no tears left, it feels like something or someone has let me down. Although I don't know anything for sure, I'm afraid of my intuition.
I'll get a call in an hour,
P.S. The photo below was from this morning, the tests seemed a bit better to me. The new Clearblue also showed 1+2, so I think something is wrong

Wow girl!! What a difference those tests make. So it's definitely showing well now. How are you doing? -

Like the little story above the photo

P.S. Just got a call from the hospital, levels are only 56, so way too low, so a miscarriage
I'm really heartbroken. -

I read that you got a call about an hour ago. I guess you might know more by now, right? -

Oh gosh, I just read your message. My WiFi is incredibly bad right now, sorry. This is all so intense, so it's been confirmed that everything isn't okay... or is there still some hope?
