What do you think of Roan for a girl? I mostly know it as a boy's name, but I think it could work for a girl too. What do you think?

    I think it works!
I know a girl myself who is called Rowen. I think it's nice too.

I also know it as a boy's name.
It's definitely cool for a girl,
but honestly, in my opinion, it's a bit too cool. I think it's more suitable for a boy.
But if you like it, just go for it

Yes, it can! I also know a girl named Rowan. Nice!

With Roan, I put more emphasis on the O instead of the A, which makes it sound more boyish. With Rowan and Rowen, I emphasize the A and the E more, but I think Rowan suits a boy more and Rowen a girl.

We did talk about Roan too. I personally think Roan is nicer. We'll take a bit more time to think about it ;-)

You're mentioning the same name haha

Oh hahaha... I meant Rowan, but Roan sounds nicer.

Definitely a tough girl name. But the name doesn't guarantee that your daughter will also be a tough girl. So how would you feel if she develops a different character than tough?

Then our shy daughter has a tough name

I personally think Chris or Kris spelled with a 'k' is also cool for a girl, or Nikkie fits a tough girl too, or Daan.
But you have to choose for yourself, of course. I'm just sharing my opinion
