Hi mamas,

I have a question! I gave birth on January 24th to my beautiful girl Maya. She is now 3 months and 5 days old. After the birth, I started the pill, but it gave me migraines, so I stopped after a week. Then I tried the patch. For a month. But I stopped again. Decided to go back to using condoms.

So after stopping the patch on March 26th, I got my period! Everything went fine. Now I'm waiting for the next one (don't know what my cycle is like now, obviously), and it's already been 35 days since my last period. I took a test 2 days ago. Negative. No line. I did it in the middle of the day. Just to give some info, I had sex with my husband twice since March 26th. One time he didn't finish inside, and the condom broke (ouch), and last week. Both times safely, of course. I do let my husband finish in the shower with his hand sometimes. It ends up on me... could I really have gotten pregnant from that?

About an hour ago, I was on the toilet. I wiped and there was a blob of mucus on the paper.

Does anyone know what this is or could be? I'm definitely going to test again tomorrow.

Thanks in advance!!

No, you can't get pregnant from cum on someone inch:.

And mucus alone isn't really a sign of pregnancy either. You can keep testing, but maybe it's smarter to use another form of contraception alongside condoms? Like a copper IUD maybe?

The chance of pregnancy seems really small to me.

It could also just be normal. Your hormones have gone through all sorts of changes and are probably a bit out of whack. Hormonal changes can also bring changes in discharge.

I don't know exactly how it looked, of course, but discharge is natural.

Anyway, 35 days could very well be accurate, maybe even longer, due to the hormones.

If it's been more than 2 months, I'd go see the doctor.
