Twin stroller?

We’re expecting our second girl in mid-August, so I’m currently busy making up my list.
When our oldest daughter is born, she’ll be 18 months old. Right now, we have a 3-in-1 Chicco stroller with a Maxi-Cosi, carrycot, and buggy.
Should we order a separate buggy for our oldest again, or is it better to get a double stroller so both can sit in one? How long do toddlers typically use a buggy? She’s already been walking for 14 days, but of course not over long distances...
We’re active people, so preferably one with good tires :-)

No advice on buggies, but my son used his buggy until he was about 2 years and 3 months old. After that, he just walked.
