This looks really negative in the photo. I'm afraid your symptoms point to an impending period. But then you also just want it to come so you can move on! I hope you get clarity soon.
Clautjuh, this one looks really negative in the photo. I'm afraid your symptoms point to an impending period. But then you'd also just want it to come so you can move on! I hope you get some clarity soon.
Well, that's nice. Shouldn't have kept them.
Tested yesterday morning and afternoon. Negative.
Yeah, stupid and nonsense.
I looked at both yesterday evening (12 and 5 hours later) and on both there was a (pink) line!!
I know, it was negative, because after the reading time it's not valid anymore, etc.
But isn't it weird??
I rinsed them with drops of water and *poof*. Gone.
Stupid things.
Totally confusing, indeed. But logically, a positive test with good implantation should show a line within the reading time. You could keep testing for a bit. It's still possible that something went wrong right after implantation... then you might get your period a bit later. Exciting, though, this way!
I can see a line again now. Whether it's later or not... you still have hCG in your body.
It does worry me a bit that it's not really going up. I'd keep an eye on it and test with first morning urine, indeed! Really curious. Hoping for a positive!
Thank you so much!
I still have 2 left... It would indeed be 2 days later if I test tomorrow morning.
I was startled to death in the evening! I thought HUH?! So clear and pink?! Then a few drops of water and it was gone. But it didn't officially count as positive, of course.
I'm also getting little twinges in my lower belly now, one sharper than the other... I think it's tense!
Well, that’s totally fine. Maybe you just didn’t see it clearly with the naked eye at first—they always become much clearer later on. But it’s not possible for a line to appear if you don’t have hCG. You need hCG for that to happen.
Why did you pour water over it, if I may ask? When I do that with my tests, it disappears too… so that’s obviously unrelated.
I'm really curious, Dicky.
By putting a drop of water on Kimberley (one drop), you make the test wet again and can see if it's an evaporator line or not. In my tests that stayed light the first week after my period, I did this regularly because I was so unsure about the lines.
I know there's always hope... but after the reading time and that water test, I don't really find it reliable.
There should just be a line within the reading time according to the leaflet.
Don't drive yourself crazy... if it's not positive within the reading time, just throw it in the trash.
So dicky35... hopefully clarity soon!!!
Oh, that's so exciting, Dicky35. Too bad about the reading time; then it doesn't count as positive, indeed. Hope you get a positive test in your hands soon!!
Thank you so much!
Still no pregnancy test, but there was a line on my temp chart on the day I had the false 'positive' test.
Now I understood from several people and forums that the LH peak can sometimes be misleading???
So that would mean I only just ovulated and I'm now 5 days past ovulation.
Seriously. Shoot me now.
No, a pregnancy test can never turn positive due to ovulation. Well, the other way around, I've tried it myself. An ovulation test turns positive due to the hCG hormone. It's also in the package insert. I don't think they were false positives either; you probably did have an implantation, and it just didn't work out for you. That's why it might take a bit longer for you to get your period now. I also had a cyst on each ovary after my early miscarriage, which quickly disappeared, and then I ovulated again. This was more than 4 weeks after the miscarriage.
These were my tests on the 8th, I had my NED (which also matched the calculations exactly) and so I only tested clearly positive later. So it's still possible. For that reason, I also only had a few faint lines after the expected time. Time will tell... I would test again a few days later if you don't get your period.
Hi everyone!
I've been trying to get pregnant for as long as I can remember and have had cysts in both ovaries. I've been trying for 3 years now.
I had an IUI on Wednesday, January 8th, and on January 10th and 11th I had a lot of brown cramps and tested positive. That was due to Pregnyl. Since then, I've been testing every day but only getting very faint lines and then completely white. Could it still be possible that if I test again in 2 days, it will be positive? My last period started on December 26th.
Angela, I think that might still be from Pregnyl. If it's not, it could be that the implantation didn't go well. It's a wait-and-see situation, and anything could still happen.
Good afternoon! I also took a test at Action, and I don't know... I see a faint line, or maybe it's just making me crazy hahaha. I'll post a photo later.
