Miscarriage medication - when to get pregnant again

My partner and I were over the moon when we held a positive pregnancy test in our hands, first try and right away. At 7.5 weeks we had our first ultrasound. We couldn't wait to see our baby, but unfortunately, we were told things weren't going well. We only saw a gestational sac with a faint white line inside. We had to wait for a miscarriage. After a few days, we decided we wanted to go with medication because we were going on holiday a week later. We were then referred to the hospital, where another ultrasound was done and 8 pills were prescribed. Around 23:00 I took the four pills, and the next day I could take another four. They said there might be some bleeding, some cramps, and hopefully the gestational sac would come out. At 01:30 the cramps started, I couldn't lie down anymore, so I started walking. Shortly after, I had to vomit and got diarrhea. The cramps became more and more intense, I kept vomiting and couldn't keep any water down. The diarrhea kept going on, I felt like I was almost going to faint. My partner called the midwife, they had never experienced this before, but were very kind and supportive. I didn't know whether I should lie down, walk, vomit, or do anything else. By morning around 05:00, a very small amount of blood started flowing, which increased throughout the morning. It were contractions that became more and more intense. When we called the hospital, they said this happens quite often, and that we should just wait and take another four pills. I couldn't handle that feeling again, and didn't know what to do. In the end, we decided to wait a bit, and then unexpectedly around 14:00 the gestational sac came out. I caught it in a small jug, so we could really see that it was a sac. I was relieved, but also found it quite intense to see it like that.

I'm posting this mainly to say that medication affects each person differently, and that it's really better not to take the second round of four pills right away. I'm very curious when ovulation will start again? And about experiences of others, and getting pregnant again after a miscarriage. Love
