I've been on the pill for 6 weeks, so I've had regular sex without a condom with my boyfriend. I'm 16 years old and this is the first day of my period. I was cleaning up and walking around, and suddenly this came out of my underwear... Is this a miscarriage, and if so, how many weeks?

Hi hi. I think 6 weeks is quite short to fully trust the pill.
I can't see any photo. How heavy is your period?

Anyway, the pill isn't 100% reliable, so it's not really smart to have so much sex (at 16?) without using condoms. -

Try adding your photo as a profile picture; maybe then we can see it.
Besides that, at your age I’d still go for condoms, even with the pill. Even though you probably love each other a lot at your age, on average, partners are still swapped quite quickly, and you never know what they bring into the relationship when it comes to STIs. -

Just off topic: I think it's a bit harsh to judge that a 16-year-old with the pill and a steady boyfriend shouldn't have sex without a condom. Come on. Whether you have a lot or little sex. With proper use, the pill is very reliable and it's always about (whether you're young or older) trusting your partner regarding other sexual contacts. That has nothing to do with age. -

Rosa, don't get me wrong, I'm not judging. I'm just sharing what I would have done at that age myself. I've known 16-year-old girls in my circle who ended up pregnant because they or their partner cheated. Or they were already pregnant before the relationship started without knowing it. Usually, you can handle it, but it's not exactly pleasant.
Now, I should also say that these were quite a few party animals, and with a lot of alcohol involved, you sometimes don't make the smartest choices. -

I agree with Rosa.. what Falca describes isn't age-related and that's how older people can still behave. So very off topic.
On topic maybe you could post a picture so we can take a look. But honestly, I don't think so if you take the pill correctly.
