Miscarriage 1 or 2 babies?

Hi, I had a miscarriage today. I was supposed to be 6 weeks along, but I lost two sacs that were quite thick, about the size of a placenta. The doctor and gynecologist didn't think further investigation was necessary since the damage was already done. Now I'm wondering if that means it was a twin pregnancy because there were 2 sacs? I do have a photo, but I don't think I can just post it.

    So sad that you had a miscarriage. I understand you're curious; I always want to know what's going on in my body too. But they're right, unfortunately, you won't get it back!
    I don't know from experience what a miscarriage looks like, maybe they were clots? Maybe Google can help you.
