Feeding schedule

Hi there!

I'd love to hear your thoughts. My little boy has already slept through a feed a few times, so I want to stick to a fixed schedule now so he gets his 5 feeds. He gets 4x120 (135) and the last feed is 150 (165).

6:30/7:00
11:00
15:00
19:00
23:30

Is this too close together since there should be 5 hours between feeds?

Greetings, Melissa

Who says there has to be a 5-hour gap? I used to feed my son every 3-4 hours, so this schedule seems fine to me. Plus, the maternity nurse taught me a method: weight x 150 is what he's allowed to have, so I don't know how much he weighs? You could maybe calculate it; I find 5 hours between feeds for a 10-week-old baby pretty long. That's nice that he's already slept through a few times!

Wow, 5 hours at that age is indeed a lot! But for me, there was usually less than 3 hours between feeds at that age.
