I'd like to introduce myself.
I'm Wendy, and in early 2017 I had a cervical surgery that left me with a significantly shorter cervix.
I'm now 23.3 weeks pregnant and super proud, but I'm at home on bed rest after three episodes of bleeding. Last Saturday I had my third bleed, and it turned out my cervix was only 10 mm, so I had to be admitted. On Sunday it was measured again and was 15 mm, so I was allowed to go home and rest. Tomorrow I'm going back to the hospital to discuss corticosteroid injections for the baby, in case she is born before 24 weeks. We're on quite an emotional rollercoaster, but we're hopeful.
Has anyone here experienced this??
