Yeah, hope it'll be over quickly. How long did it take for you to get a regular cycle?

    Hiii everyone, I'm back!
This month I had a positive ovulation test for the first time.
I'm now on day 7 after ovulation. We had intercourse on the day of ovulation (sorry I had to say that), but since yesterday I've been having waves of nausea in the mornings and evenings. Does this sound familiar to you all?
And how many days after ovulation did you get a positive test?
I know it's still too early for everything, but I can't help but worry about it.

Hey girl, haha you phrased it nicely

You can test 14 days after ovulation.

I didn't have any symptoms at all.
  4. ltje started this #44

Yeah, I know! Waiting for those days is so frustrating
I still have to wait another week, nothing I can do about it.
I see and read on various sites that women even get a positive test as early as 8 days after ovulation. I’d like to try tomorrow, but I’m afraid I’ll just disappoint myself by testing so early

I had a very faint line 8 or 9 days dpo. But no nausea or anything like that. That only came around the sixth week for me. However, I did feel implantation at 6 dpo and had light bleeding at 7 dpo. That's why I started testing at 8 dpo. Good luck!

That's great you found out so early!
Yesterday I ordered ultra-early pregnancy tests and they're here now. Detectable 6 days earlier.

Tomorrow morning I'll test with them, can't wait!

Good morning, just tested but no line yet. I hope it's too early.
  8. Moedertjuh #48

Oh, it might still be too early, don't worry. If implantation happens a bit later, you'll only start producing hCG later. That's what I experienced in this pregnancy too. I had implantation bleeding at 9 dpo and got a faint positive test at 11 dpo. One day later, it was a bit more clearly positive. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a chemical pregnancy. But that can unfortunately happen. So just be patient for now! It could still work out.

Oh, that's so sad it was a chemical pregnancy, it can happen to all of us.

I'll skip a few days and then test. I don't want to drive myself crazy

I can't wait until Monday to test.
I've had pain for about 1.5 hours now. It's right at the top of my stomach, under my breasts, and it feels really weird. My intestines are also going crazy. And occasionally, there are very light crampy waves in my lower abdomen.
I don't know what to make of it
  11. Moedertjuh #51

Oh, I also sometimes tested twice a day, you know..
Just do what makes you feel good.
  12. ltje started this #52

Hahaha, I secretly don't think I'll make it until Monday either
  13. ltje started this #53

Today 10 DPO and still no line to be seen...
  14. proud_mommy #54

What a waiting is stupid. Such uncertainty... I hope for a positive test soon
  15. ltje started this #55

Thank you! I hope so too.
Waiting is really stupid indeed. Especially when you know it could end in disappointment.
I should get my period next Monday or Tuesday. Then just wait a few more days and test on the day my period is supposed to start: ugh if I manage not to do another test in between)
  16. proud_mommy #56

Yeah, I get it. I couldn’t wait either. Especially since it was my first and I took quite a while. When I had given up hope and thought this would be negative too, it turned out positive anyway.
  17. ltje started this #57

    I'm so happy for you!
This will be my first one too, I don't have the patience to test again.
Normally, when I tested, I always had a feeling like: 'okay, this time I'm really pregnant, I can feel it'.
But this time I don't feel that way, I'll just wait and see...
  18. proud_mommy #58

Thank you so much, girl. How long have you been at it now? Letting go really helps. In February I said I’d just let it happen, and by April I was pregnant. For me, it took 18 months.
  19. ltje started this #59

I’ve only been married for about half a year. I stopped the pill but I don’t really remember exactly when. Anyway, we’ve been trying for 3 or 4 months now. Not very long, so I don’t expect much yet.
  20. proud_mommy #60

Aah, that's so nice. Congratulations. Super cool. I really hope for a positive test soon. I know what it's like to wait with so much tension, and it's not fun.
