    Definitely see a + ... exciting!
  2. Moedertjuh #22

And did you test it yet?
  3. ltje started this #23

Sorry everyone! I've had a busy week behind me. I did test, but unfortunately, it was negative.
And by the way, I got my period after that. With quite a bit of pain, though.
Everything felt so strange, first positive tests, and then suddenly negative with a period following.

I suspect an early miscarriage! I had exactly the same thing. Pregnant the next month (so now)!!

    I'm so happy for you!
A pregnancy wasn't in our plans so early in our marriage, but once I saw the positive test and we talked about it together with my husband, we quickly realized that we both wanted it after all.
According to my cycle, I should ovulate in a few days, but we're not trying to make it happen. But if it does happen, we'd be super happy!

    You never know :-)
It seems like you're more likely to get pregnant after a miscarriage (not sure if that's just a myth).. but it definitely worked for me!
I hope the same for you both! Whether now or later, as I read, you're always welcome

    Hi ladies!
I'm struggling with another doubt, this time about something different...
Based on my last period, I've concluded that my cycle can last 40 to 50 days. I stopped the pill, of course, so I wasn't sure at first how long my cycle could be.
I'm on day 18 from the first day of my last period.
2 or 3 days ago, when wiping after using the toilet (sorry for the detail), I saw very light blood, not even as big as a 20-cent coin.

But now, to my surprise, I see a small blood spot on my underwear, about the size of two 2-euro coins side by side.
I haven't had any pain at all, and not now either.
    Could it be implantation bleeding?
Does anyone have experience with this?

If your cycle is this long, I don't think you could have implantation on day 18 yet. You'd still need to ovulate first. Ovulation happens 14 days before your next period. With a 40-day cycle, you'd ovulate around cycle day 26. Even with a 28-day cycle, day 18 would be a bit early for implantation bleeding. You could also just have some spotting in between due to hormone fluctuations. Good luck this round!

    Sorry sorry sorry sorry!!!!
I'm completely confused, last month I tested positive a few times! Then I had a bleed, which was most likely a miscarriage.
The whole process, so my cycle that month, lasted 40 to 50 days.
So I still don't know what my normal cycle is!

    Sorry again

No worries! But you're not using ovulation tests? That would've given you a starting point. I'd wait a bit more and then test soon. I hope it sticks and stays! I got pregnant right after my miscarriage too. Had my first ovulation a few weeks after the miscarriage. My cycle was normally 28 days.

Nah, I just skipped the ovulation tests this month. I grabbed a pack from Action yesterday and tested right away yesterday and today, but it only shows a faint line. So no ovulation at the moment.

By the way, I was in agony with sore nipples the day before yesterday. It hurt like crazy. After that, I didn’t have any more issues—it lasted half a day and then completely went away. And now there’s also bleeding, pff, what a hassle when you don’t know what’s going on with your body
  12. Moedertjuh #32

You could still try the ovulation tests for a bit longer. But yeah, your body can really play tricks on you. You'll find out soon enough anyway! Exciting

Yeah! Just hang in there a little longer then

I don't know what to make of it. Right now I've got brown discharge when wiping, probably some old blood.

Since I haven't quite got my cycle figured out yet, I don't know when I should be getting my period. And therefore I don't know when I should test. Would that be 1 or 1.5 weeks after this bleeding?
  15. Moedertjuh #35

If it's implantation, you can test a few days after with a sensitive test. I tested 2 days after implantation... I felt it too... very faint positive. Three days later it was clearer.
  16. ltje started this #36

Then I'll also test in a few days. Which test did you use?
  17. Moedertjuh #37

I used the one from Sensitest. This was 3 days after implantation. Four days before the period was due.
  18. ltje started this #38

Oh, I'll try that too! I still have 1 Kruidvat test left. It's so tempting to test right away, especially this morning. But I'm afraid it's too early and I'll be disappointed if I only see one line. Then I'll have to wait a bit more
  19. ltje started this #39

The bleeding is still going on, it's not like a normal period. It's just coming little by little, and I don't have any pain. I do feel like something's going on down there, but there's no pain.
I'm really worried about this. Before the pill, I always had a period every 35 days at least. And now I started bleeding on day 19/20, without any pain.
The fact that it doesn't stop also seems weird to me; it's not a one- or two-day bleed.
If it had happened a few days before my expected period date, I'd think it was just a short cycle. But a cycle of 19 days??...

By the way, I took a test the day before yesterday, but it came back negative.
  20. Moedertjuh #40

Oh that's really annoying. But your body might still be adjusting to coming off the pill. I also had a lot of unexplained bleeding in the first few months.
