Negative tests help?

Has anyone experienced this before?
I had unprotected sex right during my fertile window. I usually get my period every 28 days and now I'm already 5 days late... all tests negative, had a blood test yesterday which was also negative....
I've never been late before... has anyone experienced that the blood test was negative but you turned out to be pregnant anyway????

    Hi Bloem,
I haven't experienced this before, but what I have experienced is being tested for being overdue, and then my period just came a few days later. And that while I could usually set my clock by when my period was due. Our bodies can be weird sometimes...
    Love,

I do have all sorts of symptoms.
I wonder what's going on if I don't get my period at all...
Could it be a phantom pregnancy, or is that not really a thing?
I really want to get pregnant.
If I still haven't gotten my period by Monday, I'll have to call my GP...

Hopefully you'll have more clarity by Monday at the latest.
Maybe you're just producing hCG very slowly.
It's terrible, all that uncertainty. I'm currently in my 'waiting' period,
should normally get my period on Friday and am feeling all sorts of things again
(lower abdominal/groin pain, lower back pain,...) but I'm afraid my body is
    playing tricks on me again.

Pfff... yeah, it's so hard to wait...
I can't think of anything else....

I unfortunately went through this myself. Even the blood test came back negative... On 22-12 I got terrible contractions and started bleeding, sweating, vomiting. I called the GP right away and had to go in. I was told it was an ectopic pregnancy... but before that, the GP kept insisting I wasn't pregnant... Well, I could only see the gynecologist on Jan 17 for an exam... If you want to be sure, demand a visit from the GP to the gynecologist for an internal ultrasound... Maybe there's something else causing the delay, and they can see that right away... I know exactly how you feel, but don't worry too much... It only works against you.

Oh!! Pff, that's so annoying for you...
And how long did that last before you started having contractions etc... were you just overdue or did it really take 9 months?
I had indeed read about that too...

I'll wait until Monday. If I'm still not pregnant by then, I'll ask for a referral!

I didn’t get my period for a whole month then, I was 5 weeks pregnant..
That’s really nice of you... but my GP didn’t want to cooperate. And after I had the miscarriage, she wanted to refer me, and suddenly she was willing to.. but the gynecologist said it was already too late and wanted to wait first.. I already had an appointment scheduled for the 17th, so that could just go ahead.
