Pregnyl or own hCG

Good day ladies,

I have a question.
I had a transfer on August 9th, supported by 3 x 1500 injections. The last Pregnyl shot was on August 17th, and now I'm checking if the Pregnyl is clearing out. From past experience, I know that the 1500 Pregnyl breaks down super fast for me and is usually gone after max 3 days. I can sometimes get a faint line on day 3.
Now I'm 2 days before my official test date (August 21st), and I've been testing these past few days. The lines are staying pretty much the same color. Is this still Pregnyl, or can I start getting a little hopeful? I'll attach a photo so you can give your opinion. I'd love to hear your thoughts. I personally find the line still quite dark for a Pregnyl line.
Thanks in advance, love, Carla

Didn't you get any advice on when you could start testing? What I remember is that Pregnyl stayed in my system for much longer... How are tests these days?

    Hi Emmy,
My test date is the 21st.
Overmorrow Pregnyl wears off quickly for me and is gone within 3 days. If I test after that, you can see the test get lighter day by day, but they aren't getting lighter now, hence the uncertainty whether this is still Pregnyl or Pregnyl combined with my own hCG.
Because I don't really find it getting lighter myself, it stays about the same. What do you think of the colors?

These are my tests from the 16th and 17th. I took the last Pregnyl 1500 on the 17th.

Pregnyl stayed in my body for 10 days, for sure. If I were you, I'd definitely wait until your test date. Unfortunately, there's not much more to say!

@nala thanks for responding. Pregnyl 1500, uh, doesn't stay in your body for that long—max 5 to 6 days, and the other one breaks down faster than the other. I've been doing IVF treatments for 12 years now, and this is my 12th IVF treatment. I had a little boy with my 9th IVF treatment, who's almost 2 now, and I always test for Pregnyl, and it's gone after max 3 days, so I know this. But I still always feel insecure, even after so many treatments. But I can't really do anything else but wait. You'd think after so many years you'd have patience, but it's now with my last IVF that patience is hard to find, hehe. Hopefully more certainty tomorrow. I expect that the line will be darker if I'm pregnant, or if it's still Pregnyl for some reason that's staying longer this time, it'll be lighter. I'm almost at the finish line. It would be so nice to finally get a brother or sister for my little boy, and with my last IVF ever, anyway. Thanks for your quick reply.

    Greetings, Carla

He seems to be picking up a bit on the last test too. I hope it's good for you.

    Congratulations!

Did you wait until you were 'allowed' to test?

    Congratulations!

I did this one a day after my test date, then I knew for sure, but it wasn't Pregnyl anymore, as I had thought, hihi. After 12.5 years of IVF treatments, we're going to receive a second little miracle soon.
Hope everything keeps going well, but we stay positive.
    Greetings, Carla
