Anyone have experience?

Hi there!

I’m currently 34 weeks and 5 days pregnant. At 32 weeks, I was referred to the OB/GYN because my baby’s abdomen was measuring at the 3rd percentile (P3) and the femur (thigh bone) at the 4th percentile (P4) (though the head was measuring at the 19th percentile, P19).

I saw the specialist the following week, and thankfully, her measurements showed the baby is a bit bigger now. The head is P20, the abdomen P8, and the femur P10.

Last week they scanned again, and the results were roughly the same. Does anyone have experience with this?

I’d really like to know how you all handled it in your situations, so I know what to expect. They haven’t been able to find a reason for this yet, which is reassuring on one hand, but also worrying on the other.

Hope someone has had a similar experience..

Those values don't mean anything to me. Is the baby overall very small or is it not proportional?

My little boy was also below the 10th percentile in the last few weeks. In the end, this was due to my pre-eclampsia, and I was induced at 38 weeks. He weighed 5 pounds.
You can't do much more than have them keep a close eye on things. Have they estimated what the weight will be then?
