Lautof
Hi everyone,
My name is Lautof, I'm 40 years old and pregnant with my second baby. I got pregnant a bit unexpectedly, but it's very welcome though!
Right after I went to the GP to let them know I was pregnant, I started bleeding. I called the doctor right away and was able to come in two days later. The ultrasound didn't look great. There was a sac with a yolk but no embryo. A week later (so today), I had to come back for a follow-up scan. And what do you think I saw..... A tiny baby with a beautiful beating heart. Of course, I was quite stunned. I know, of course, that this doesn't guarantee anything. The doctor also didn't see any reason for a miscarriage. Where the blood came from is still a mystery. But it definitely wasn't from a miscarriage. I'm still feeling very uncertain, and given my age, there's still an increased chance of a miscarriage. To be continued.....

    Welcome Lautof,
Oh what a stressful moment. You can also get some bleeding with constipation or during intercourse because your veins are more on the surface during pregnancy.
    I hope everything stays okay

    Greetings
