What is it so DIFFICULT

It's so hard to choose a name. For the boy's name, we quickly had one in mind, but for girls' names... nothing stood out as the top two.

As for girls' names... I like them all! I just can't decide.

We've had the same 15 names on our list for 8 days now!
Liv
Nova
Vajén
Louise
Ella
Moon
Roselie
Phileine
Mila
Zola
Faye
Nové
Esle
Zeia
Saia

We just can't choose from all these names. We thought maybe it would be easier if we asked you all: what is your top 6 from these names?

Thanks in advance, haha

    So relatable.

    Here's my top 6:
    1. Mila
    2. Rosalie
    3. Louise
    4. Phileine
    5. Ella
    6. Liv.

I personally don't like the rest either.
And I'll spell Rosalie with an a.

    Greetings and good luck!

    Rosalie sounds like fairy.
    This is the cutest one.

    1. Vajèn
    2. Fayé
    3. Liv
    4. Mila
    5. Nova
    6. Nové
  4. Anouk Guest #5

    1 Liv
    2 Ella
    3 Faye
    4 Mila
    5 Louise
    6 Nova or Nové
  5. Debby Guest #6

Clear favorite is Esle and a good second is Nové.
  6. Agnes Guest #7

1 Esle (really beautiful and original but not pretentious)
2 Liv (soft and tough at the same time)
    3 Ella (sweet and classic)
    4 Roselie (cheerful)
    5 Mila (sweet)

I wouldn't do Saia at all, because it sounds like "saai" (boring) with an a added. Sinja, Selah, Celia, and Daya/Daia I do find to be nice names that look similar.

I think Mila and Liv are both really beautiful; the rest doesn't appeal to me. Good luck!

Meanwhile, we've got a new list again, haha

    Leah
    Phileine
    Myla
    Vajén
    Elena
    Stella
    Louise
    Rosalie
    Scarlett
    Nova

What's your top 5 from these names?
  9. Avelie Guest #10

    Zeia, Eslé, and Nové.
I think those are the prettiest... short, sweet, and original!

But if you're going for classic: Louise or Rosalie.
Or... Maxise, Valeine, Philise, Evole, Limare, Noleste, Vilinde, or Suelle.

    Yeah, it's hard, I know!!
  10. Esy Guest #11

    Zeia or Valeine!!
  11. Maryse Guest #12

    1. Louise
    2. Leah
    3. Zeia
    3. Eslé
    4. Rosalie
    5. Elena

I wouldn't go with Phileine because of the character in Ronald Giphart's book, which sounds like 'vilijn' (meaning 'mean' or 'nasty'. Since that character, the name has become popular in the Netherlands.

What I do like is: Philine, Philise, or Valeine.
  12. Anonymous Guest #13

Yeah, I just found out about that too, so I've already crossed the name off my list.
  13. Anonymous Guest #14

Oh that's sad, I think Phileine is such a beautiful name!

    I think Nova is super!
  14. Merel #15

Also HARD to spell "moeilijk" I see!
  15. GirlC Guest #16

I just want to say that you might want to look up the meaning of Vajen again.. Then it'll probably be ruled out
  16. anoniem22 #17

I looked it up quickly. Vajen means "vagina" in Turkish, but since we live here in the Netherlands, I don't see a problem. It's a really beautiful name.
  17. Jenny00 #18

Esle and Moon are my favorites from your list. They look great together too
Good luck with choosing! Do you still have some time to make up your mind?
  18. Merel #19

I wouldn't call my daughter "vagina" anytime soon. Maybe you'll never go to Turkey, but maybe she'll marry a Turk someday. Still pretty tricky!
  19. anoniem22 #20

You're not literally saying vagina, are you? And it's also quite personal how much value you place on the meaning of a name.
