Linda
Hi everyone,
My name is Linda and I'm 29 years old. I'm married and already have a son. He was born last year. Our big pride.
Now, after giving birth, I had an IUD inserted. Eight months after insertion, I was referred to the gynecologist because of various complaints. I had to have the IUD removed, which was last month. I react very poorly to hormones, so we decided to try for a second child. We feel good as a family, and my body is doing well too.
Last month, I was very nauseous, but I did get my period. It lasted 1.5 days, which is quite unusual. This month, I've been very tired, and last weekend I suddenly didn't feel like eating cheese anymore. So I took a test. As soon as the urine hit the test, a line appeared. We're assuming for now that I got pregnant this month! With our son, it took 7 months.
I've already told my parents, and the first thing they asked was... Was it planned? Of course, not that the IUD had to come out. But it was a conscious choice. I'm only doing an education right now, so it's going to be tough... I'm super happy, and my husband is too.
On November 17th, I have an appointment with the midwife. Very exciting, and I'm counting down the days.
