    I actually want to wait a week... it'll be hard since the test is in the drawer. If the test is still negative after a week, I'll get a blood test. I just want to be sure, otherwise I'll keep sitting in this uncertainty. I've tested negative before and could just put it out of my mind right away, but somehow I can't this time..

    Hi Anna,

    We're in the exact same boat.
    I had a faint positive test earlier this week and now after 6 more tests, only negatives...
    I'm using the same tests as you.
    I'm also feeling all sorts of things (I think) but no sign yet.
    I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that you'll get a positive test soon...

    That’s tough, the uncertainty . You did have a faint positive test, though! It’s weird that the rest of the tests are negative now... maybe try a different brand? See what that test shows? When was your period supposed to start? I don’t really have a lot of symptoms either, mostly the cramps which have been present throughout the day, like I could get my period any moment.. but the cramps have been there for almost 2 weeks now, and no period yet. Last week I also had some waves of nausea, and normally I love chocolate, but now I have zero craving for it. I hope you’ll still get a positive test! I’m rooting for you! Maybe try a CB test?
    Ann, I think I’ll wait a week, but this will be really hard... when do you test positive?

    Hi Anna,
    the first test, which was faintly positive, was from Action; the other tests were all from KV 2v5.
    I also keep getting those cramps and occasional acid reflux.
    My MS was supposed to start last Thursday...
    I do want to get a CB but it feels like a waste if it's negative and I'm no further along than I am now...

    Zeentje, I’ve heard around that there’s a drying line in some Action pregnancy tests. I don’t mean anything by it, I’ve never used them myself. Maybe one test is more sensitive than another? Maybe you could get a test with a plus sign at Kruidvat? I tested positive for my previous pregnancy with those tests. They’re not so expensive either.

    Niveamam, I suddenly have a huge craving for different food, like kroepoek and that kind of stuff I never used to eat before, haha! I’m already drooling just thinking about it. But still, that stupid test is negative... My breasts have been tender on the sides for a few days now, getting more painful each day, but I also get this right before my period. My nipples might be a bit darker, my friend says no... Weird body. Hoping for some clarity soon!

    Unfortunately, it’s been less great this afternoon—some red blood and a lot of brown discharge Had a lot of cramps this morning and it’s starting to hurt again.

    Nivea mom, I understand your insecurity... cramps and bleeding are definitely not what you want to see when you're pregnant, but it can really be anything! Brown blood is usually old residue, so I wouldn't worry too much about that. Fresh red blood can also indicate a burst blood vessel. With my previous miscarriage, it started with red drops of blood and it really got more and more quickly, until there was really a lot coming out, so to speak. The cramps also really felt like contractions and were really not comparable to period cramps. I really hope that in 8 months you'll be able to hold a beautiful baby in your arms. I'm really rooting for you! Love

    Things are weird here too. Today marks 3 days past due. Had sex with my partner this morning and immediately after, I had very light pink spotting. Does anyone recognize this? I think my period is coming unfortunately...

    Yeah, I relate to that, I had it last month too... and was pregnant then... also light bleeding after sex.
    I think because everything is more sensitive? I really hope you're pregnant! When did you take the test last?
    Thanks Anna, it's not going so well.. right now I'm in the waiting room at the hospital, I had to come urgently because of the abnormal pain I have that radiates all over I'm about to have an internal exam..

    Pff Niveamom, what a mess... I really hope everything settles down nicely for you and that everything turns out okay I'm still having light bleeding now, it looks a bit watery. Not many cramps, so we'll see. I tested the day before yesterday, 1 day after ovulation. I don't want to test for now either, who knows, my period might break through today after all...

    Lots of strength in the hospital, love Anna .

    Thank you, dear Ann! As of Tuesday, I hopefully know more if only there was a guarantee once you have a positive test in hand I know one thing for sure now: no matter how light or dark the test is, you never know! Waiting around is crap, time is not my friend right now

    My period unfortunately continued, but in a way I've never experienced before. I'm curled up in bed from the pain, crying from the severe cramps. I'll call the doctor later because this doesn't seem right. Unfortunately, no pregnancy, and what your body can do to play tricks on you, bah. Niveamam, that's exciting! How are your cramps/brown discharge doing?
