Just got my period, but I'm wondering if I might still be pregnant.

Still pretty weird though, did you show or bring a photo of your pregnancy test? I would also just call the doctor, although after seeing your blood test results, I don't think it's the case unfortunately. Good luck!!

I took another test with a different brand and got a faint positive line right within the time frame. I showed her the test from last time yesterday. Based on my feeling of baby movement, she said 16+ weeks. So I could be pregnant. I don't know anymore. I don't make sense of it either.

I'm going to ask for a referral to the gynecologist; this makes me feel really insecure

Go for it, because I think it's a weird story too.. I'll give the VK a quick call, you'll have certainty right away! Good luck, girl!

You're making it quite suspenseful, Lin. I'm curious!!

    Totally agree with Mandy.

16 weeks and an hCG level of 5 don't match... but what is your husband basing the 16 weeks on?

Well, since I've already had 3 super weird periods that are barely worth mentioning. Very short and almost nothing. While normally it's 5 days. Now it's 1/2 days but really nothing. Drops, that's what you've got. I have all the symptoms of nausea and a metallic taste in my mouth, large breasts, and a strong sense of smell, and fatigue. Only nausea is no longer there. It feels like there are little pops in my belly, a tingling sensation. Especially when I lie down (before going to sleep) or after being busy and then sitting down. The tests are all slightly positive within the time frame. The GP says that if you feel a baby move, you must be at least 16 weeks plus. But now the blood test gives 5, and the assistant says not pregnant. While the tests that you have to pee on, regardless of the brand, just show slightly positive. I don't know what to think of it. It makes me feel very insecure. People in my environment come up to me and say, oh how nice, are you pregnant? Because I'm normally as flat as a penny. I don't know what to say to those nice people anymore. I'm going to make an appointment tomorrow with a gynecologist or midwife, it doesn't matter to me. But I want to know how this can be. I could cry over it.

Lin, I think it's really, let's say, crap for you, and I have no idea what it could be.
I think you should see a doctor quickly so there's clarity.
Wishing you lots of strength, girl!

I’d get an ultrasound done as soon as possible—that’s the only thing that can really give you clarity!

My belly is growing, I'm normally flat.

    Has the midwife already called?
  14. lin Guest #74

I, I'm getting a referral to the gynecologist

You really look pregnant, man! Although I’ve had that too. And even when I look in the mirror now, I look pregnant. Probably my intestines, but it would be something, man, if you were really pregnant!

I haven't really experienced this before. I do fitness, so I always look toned. Now I'm getting fatter and fatter. So for me, this is strange. From abs to this.

Yes, separate story though. Have you already called your GP and requested an ultrasound?
  18. lin Guest #78

I called my GP and asked for a referral to the gynecologist.
  19. Nannie ❤ #79

Okay, so now you need to make an appointment with the gynecologist yourself. Hope you get some clarity soon, girl.
