Just got my period, but I'm wondering if I might still be pregnant.

    Hi,
    I had to give birth 3 weeks ago and felt nauseous, was really scared so I panicked.
    Tested and the week after that also both negative, then I was reassured. But in the last week my boyfriend told me that we went from one day to the other and got a serious breast growth. They are also swollen and painful when I touch them. I also take the pill, I forgot it once and in my break week I don't get my regular period. I lose a lot of brown discharge and also once it was pink. I looked it up and it turned out that these are the first signs that you are pregnant. And one morning I got up and I saw my period for 4 or 5 hours and then they were gone again. I also gained a lot of weight in that one week. I also have stabbing pains on the sides of my hips. If I have to walk a little bit, I get stabbing pains.

    Does anyone know what to do? Have you guys experienced this too?
    Am I pregnant now?

    Just to chat a bit..

    Second round for us. I have a regular 28-day cycle and got my period on day 30. (I was really happy that I was already a day late. But unfortunately, the bleeding started with one day of brown discharge, then one day of blood (like a normal period), and then brown discharge again. I still have a strange feeling.
    Last month, I had stabbing and shooting pains in my right hip/buttock and experienced dizziness. Those are gone now. However, a week after my period, my breasts got bigger (my husband even noticed it himself), and I feel a bit bloated. 3 tests from Action have been negative so far. Who was pregnant after a period and negative tests, and when did your tests become positive? I want to know when it's best to test again.

    Oh, I forgot to mention something.

    My temperature was between 36.8 and 37.1 before my period and after ovulation. After my period, it was 36.7 once, then 36.9 and 37.0 the next day. Normally, I'm between 36.4 and 36.7.

    Hi ladies,

    My husband and I are trying hard to conceive, but it just isn't happening Lots of people around us got pregnant without even trying, which is really frustrating.

    I have an app on my phone that shows me when I'm fertile, since my period is always very regular. So we've been having sex every time during my fertile window, and also before and after just to be safe. I thought I wouldn't get my period this month because I was already a week past my expected date, so I took a pregnancy test, but unfortunately, it was negative. Then this morning I went to the bathroom and yes, I got my period But now I'm reading online that you can still be pregnant even then. What do you all think?

    Since my period is always regular and is now a week late, we find this quite suspicious.

    Hi Lis,

    If you're unsure, I'd get a blood test done by your GP or a lab... it gives quick clarity and is 100% reliable.
    Although it sounds like you're not pregnant.
    But anything is possible, you know!!

    I have a question and it’s making me feel really unsure. I’ve been testing light positive for 2 months now. Before I had to take my son to the hospital for 2 weeks, my partner and I had been trying. 2 weeks later I had all the pregnancy symptoms, so I thought it was a success. Then I got my period, but it was really short and not normal. I kept having symptoms, so I thought I’d test. Light positive line. Yes, within the waiting time. I did 10 more tests on different days, all light positive. Called the GP, they said I could be pregnant but to wait. You can’t see anything yet if you are pregnant. Still, I got my period after 28 days, and again, almost nothing. Symptoms continued and still light positive line. Now 3 weeks ago. Next week I’m supposed to get my period again. But the symptoms are still there, and I’ve also gotten bigger and increased a cup size. The GP says maybe you’re pregnant but it’s too early to see anything. That’s really making me feel unsure. I don’t know if I’m pregnant or not. And people have been asking me lately. So I could be 8 weeks pregnant or even longer. Has anyone experienced something like this? Very light bleeding that you can’t really call a period, testing positive, and being pregnant????

    With a Clearblue you can see how long you've been pregnant, and otherwise you can just make an appointment with the midwife now, okay!

    On July 10, my boyfriend fingered me a bit. He didn't cum and only briefly touched his penis, then later he fingered me. On July 13, I got my period as usual, so that was supposed to be it. Now my period is due again on August 9, but it hasn't come yet today. I do have sore breasts, but that always happens when my period is about to start. But now, when I think about it, my stomach also hurts and my breasts feel a bit bigger. They still just feel tender. But I'm wondering if I could be pregnant, since I already got my period that Monday.

On July 13th I just got my period, so that was when it was supposed to happen. Now I should get my period again on August 9th but haven't yet today. I do have very sore breasts, but that's always how it is when I'm about to get my period. But now when I think about it all, my tummy also starts to hurt and my stomach feels soft. And my breasts are also getting a bit bigger. They still just feel sensitive though. But I'm wondering now if I could be pregnant since I already got my period that Monday.

    Dear girl,

    I actually gave you an answer earlier that you can't get pregnant from that, and you also got your period then.
    You can always buy very cheap tests if you're afraid that it might be the case.
    This tension you're feeling now can kind of block your body from getting your period now. May I ask how old you are?

    I'm 17 years old. As of this morning, I still haven't gotten my period. I keep stressing out about it not coming, which probably delays it even more.
    But my breasts are getting bigger, I think. Maybe it's just fluid, but you can also see some stretch marks a bit. Now that I'm thinking about it every time, you automatically start feeling pain in your belly, and pressing on everything isn't good either, of course. But there's also pressure on me to get it because I'm going on vacation next week. I really just want it to happen.
    But can I not be pregnant anyway? Because on the evening of July 10th, I had done that. On Wednesday around 10 o'clock, I got my period, so it had to happen on that date.

    Oh yeah Ezzie!

    Now I'm also stressing myself out and thinking about it every time. Always just. And then I go searching for all sorts of things on the internet and such, the symptoms, and they do match sometimes, just like with the breast tenderness. I don't really know what to do. Since I need to get it sorted out quickly myself because I'm going on vacation next week.

    if you haven't had sex since your period last month, you normally can't be pregnant.
    And you don't get pregnant from fingering.

    No, I haven't done anything else really.
    But shouldn't I be pregnant anyway? I'm now a day overdue, so to speak. I just don't know what those symptoms mean. And my belly has also gotten loose and saggy, it looks like fat. But could that be because I'm so worried? Because I think about it every time.
