2.5 weeks overdue, tests negative

Hi everyone,

I have a question..
I last got my period on June 30th, so it should be due around July 30th. That's when I can actually set my clock, since I normally get all the symptoms 2 days before (headache, stomach ache, sore breasts, and whatever else).

I've done several pregnancy tests and had a blood test done last week. Everything came back negative.

So now, to my surprise, I still haven't gotten my period.. I only have cramps in my lower abdomen, like it could happen any moment.

Can someone help me out?
I do have an appointment with the gynecologist on the 31st, in case I still haven't started by then.

Lots of love,
Mandy

    Hi Mandy,
    That’s quite unfortunate.
Did you take the pill? If so, have you stopped for a while now?
Since they’ve taken blood from you, you can be pretty sure you’re not pregnant.
Unless you did this too early.
Hopefully, you’ll soon find out what’s wrong.
    Best wishes.

I had my IUD removed in December 2015. So it probably isn't that. I'm not using anything else either, since it's more than welcome. Today at 2:15 PM I have an appointment with the gynecologist, as advised by my doctor. Because up until now I haven't had my period, and it's been two months now...

Good luck later with the doctor.

I was once 17 days overdue and lost some weird mucus plugs, so my midwife referred me to the ultrasound center (I already have 2 kids) because the GP refused to do a blood test after many negative pregnancy tests. At the ultrasound, they saw absolutely nothing except some very distended intestines..

A late reply, but there's clarity now.
Still haven't had my period to this day. Went to the gynecologist last Monday, unfortunately got less good news. Turns out I have PCOS.

    Thanks for the replies.

Mandyy, strength with processing it. That's definitely not good news to receive.

Wishing you lots of strength! Hope you'll still find a solution that makes you happy again.
