Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum, by the way, it's really nice to have found it. I'm currently 21 years old and my wife is 29. We both want children, and I'm the one who will carry the baby. This does require some planning on our part, of course. I'm really looking forward to getting pregnant. I hope to read others' experiences here and be able to talk about these kinds of things.

Floyd, thank you! I see you're pregnant with your first baby, how lovely! Congratulations again.

Thank you! Yes, that's right, 20 weeks with a daughter It took us 7 months, which felt like forever back then, but now that I'm pregnant, this is taking much longer hahaha.
It's special that you're going to carry your child. Have you already thought about a route? Like a known donor or the medical route? I'm not too familiar with it myself, but I'm curious

Lovely to have a little girl, it must be a special time to go through, I imagine.
Yes, it will be someone we know; we’ve already had a conversation with him and asked him to think about it. So we hope he’s still positive about it. The next step will be to talk to him again, which is quite exciting too!

Yay, so exciting! Hopefully he's on board too. It's really special to have a well-known person as a godparent; that would be my preference too. That way, your child will always know where they come from I'm rooting for you!

Yes, exactly. And that way my partner also feels more like it's hers, since the donor is immediate family

You've found a really nice solution
