Radiance

I'm trying to conceive, but I work in the medical sector and often have to work with an X-ray machine. I've stopped taking the pill for a month, and normally I'd get my period tomorrow. However, I had to work with the X-ray this morning. I do wear shorts, a thyroid shield, and gloves, but is that enough? As soon as I know I'm pregnant, I'll inform my boss, but I don't want to tell him too early if I'm not sure myself yet. Is this safe?
