I'll probably end up going back on the pill in the end... maybe condoms for the start, but I just find them such a hassle. It's like you have to plan everything, and then what if you run out? Nah, I'm more of a spontaneous person, haha. I'm not really keen on getting an IUD fitted, so I think that's why I'm leaning back towards the pill.

Hi Mama! Why don't you consider an IUD? I'm thinking about it, but I don't think it makes sense for a short time, right? My partner doesn't like condoms, and I also feel better without them, so that doesn't seem like a good option for the long term.

Madelene, that sounds intense! Do you want a fifth child? Otherwise, you could go for more permanent contraception?

Are there no other girls struggling with these choices?

According to my GP, an IUD has the least hormones, and once it's removed, you should be fertile right away, says my GP. So in that regard, it doesn't matter if you have it placed temporarily.

No, that's right, I heard that too! But I'm a bit hesitant about posting it. And is it useful if it's until the end of the year, for example?

Any other girls with a good plan? We've just started using condoms for now!

How soon after giving birth did everyone have sex again, and how did it go?
