Feeling nauseous and can't eat!?

Hi!!

I'll introduce myself first. I'm Mir, 28 years old, and pregnant with our first baby! It's all so exciting!!

I'm now 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant, so I still have to wait a bit for the ultrasound. But my eating habits are really bad; I'm nauseous almost all day but still feel hungry. This week it's getting worse; before I could still eat normally (not too much), but since today I'm starting to gag on my food . Does anyone have a tip for this?? It doesn't matter what I eat, warm or cold, I have no appetite for anything...

Love, Mir

Trying different things, sweet, sour, salty, spicy, bitter, fatty or rather lean. Hopefully something stays down.

Miri, can you at least drink? That's the most important thing so you don't get dehydrated. If that doesn't work either, you should stay in touch with your midwife so they can monitor your urine.
Not eating well isn't really a problem for your baby right now. It's more unpleasant for yourself.
If you really can't keep anything down, you can get something from your GP.

I was very sick during three pregnancies, and from my experience, along with many other women on this forum, is that many people don't understand how severe the nausea can be. But stand up for yourself, okay.
Strength and hopefully it'll be over soon.
