Here I am, almost 20 weeks pregnant with my second... so far... knock on wood... nothing to show
,but what hasn't happened yet might still happen...and I'd totally be up for that if it were to happen!!

I’ve been a zebra too since my first pregnancy. I find it terrible!!! But yeah, unfortunately, there’s nothing you can do...
They’re mainly on my sides, on my breasts, and on my legs.

    I'm 32+4 weeks pregnant.
So far, no stretch marks on my belly.
But since last week, I've noticed a small stretch mark near my navel where my piercing used to be.
And the usual stretch marks on my breasts, around week 24. I already started using cream before pregnancy. And now I still do every morning and evening after showering. I hope it stays this way, but what's not there yet could still appear. But luckily, it's all for a beautiful purpose.

First pregnancy, no signs yet, but I gave birth at 38 weeks. Now at 37w4d and still no sign of labor... so we'll see

First stretch mark at 27 weeks. Does this mean I'm going to get a lot more, or could it stay limited to my breast?

I hadn't noticed anything all that time, and I was so happy about that! Now at 39 weeks, there are suddenly 2, right at the bottom of my belly! I can't even see them myself with such a big bump, I only saw them on the last belly photo my boyfriend took!
The last few yards, goodness gracious!

    Hi moms and future moms,
I smeared with special cream from day 1 during my pregnancy. I gained 11 kilos, but kept everything nicely forward. At week 39, I felt my skin couldn't take it anymore and it tore. Itchy, itchy. After giving birth, my skin was very loose, painful, and ugly. Tried many creams, but then discovered Rituals Mama. The itching decreased, and after a few weeks, I already saw results. My belly is now tighter again. The lines don't disappear, but it's acceptable. I'm pregnant again now and just hope the stretch marks don't tear again. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do if it's going to happen.

I'm 34 weeks pregnant now, and no stretch marks in sight. I always lube up after showering, and sometimes in the evening while chilling on the couch. Not sure if it actually helps... But I'm glad they haven't shown up yet! They could still pop up in the last few weeks, of course. After showering, I use Rituals or Dove body cream. In the evening on the couch, I use Vaseline Intensive Care.

Are there any people who got stretch marks during their growth spurts (on hips, back, etc.) and managed to avoid them during their pregnancy?

I got stretch marks on my back at 12-13 years old due to a growth spurt. I'm only 1.67m tall, but apparently my skin wasn't elastic enough. I've never been overweight either, so it's not due to excessive weight gain.

I'm now 31 and feel it's about time for a baby. Hence my question. Have people with experience found that they are less prone to stretch marks after their thirties?

As for prevention, I'm mainly planning to hydrate from the inside out and drink more water. I'm one of those people who rarely feels thirsty and is fine with just one glass a day. Obviously way too little. And I wonder if I shouldn't blame my earlier stretch marks partly on that. A dried-out plant leaf snaps more easily too, right?

As for the saying that you should look at your mother to know if you'll get stretch marks, I can only say unfortunately that's not true. My mom has no stripes at all after 3 kids. I already have them, and I haven't even started having kids yet....

I didn't get any at all, which I had expected, because Ben went from size 36 to 44. But it really depends on your skin type; my girlfriends are jealous haha

From the end of the first trimester, into the second, I couldn't avoid it either. I'm covered in those well-known stretch marks from my belly all the way down to my lower back. I regularly used mama oil from the KV and the mama balm from Etos, but unfortunately I'm not that elastic, so I couldn't escape them. I know it's normal, but for the upcoming holiday I bought a mama swimsuit instead of a bikini!
