Was scared but it happened anyway!
I shouldn't complain too much because honestly it's only a tiny bit, I'm just afraid it'll get worse. For me they appeared in week 33/34. Unexpected but on both sides below my belly button some thin purple stripes. I expected it more at the top of my belly because it's so tight there and I don't have that feeling below my belly button.
Anyway I'm continuing to apply cream calmly and 2 liters of water every day to keep the skin well hydrated! (doesn't work out too well for me but at least I try to drink a lot). -

Here at 38 weeks and a half now, and no stretch marks in sight... The only thing I do notice is that the spot where my belly button piercing used to be is always purple, which is quite funny to look at. Hopefully it stays like this for the last few days/weeks. I never really used any cream, but I did put oil in my bath even before I was pregnant, so maybe that helped a bit

I’ve got them from my first pregnancy too! Up until 2 weeks before the birth, there was nothing to see, and then suddenly they were there. Indeed, it’s part of it, and I’m happy to have them. -

28 weeks pregnant and still no stretch marks. I apply Mama Belly Cream by Zwitsal every morning and evening.
My mom gained 21 kg when she was pregnant with me, never applied any cream, and never got a single stretch mark (not even with my two brothers). It probably isn't genetic, but I think some people are just more prone to them than others

In my third trimester, I got stretch marks despite all the cream I applied from Mustela. But don't worry about it too much! I'm super proud of our girl, and those stretch marks are part of the package.
And I'd still recommend smearing cream to everyone. I found it such a nice moment; I had my partner do it, really fun like that with us three!

I'm at 34 weeks. The day before, I told my beautician how happy I was: "What a lucky me! No stretch marks at all!"
Yeah, yeah, celebrated too soon! Below the belly button, there are lots of stretch marks visible.
But yeah, it's all part of it. -

I already had more than 10 stretch marks at 16 weeks, turns out I'm not really that elastic haha. Now at 36 weeks my whole belly is covered, plus the usual pregnancy stretch marks haha. I ordered the whole set. But anyway, I don't mind at all—it's indeed a reminder of the most beautiful time of my life, the time of making and growing my baby. And believe me, I rubbed and massaged myself silly, but the doctor already said that rubbing doesn't help; if your skin is like that, you just get it anyway. -

I'm now 17 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I already had stretch marks from my previous pregnancy. I used to apply cream every day last time, but now only occasionally. It didn't really help. I think if your body is going to make them, you'll get them, whether you apply cream or not. -

Dear ladies,
Very good and affordable: almond oil; massage it in well every evening.
Good luck! -

Got stretch marks out of nowhere last week. On my breasts!
My belly is still as tight as anything, without a single mark.
Thankfully, my husband finds them attractive, these stretch marks on my breasts.
'That means they really grew!'

just a quick question, do you also have a dry face?? I do apply cream
and I have a light brown stripe above my lip that won't go away.......
I've been having that more now too, a drier face. I have to apply cream every day!

2 to 3 weeks ago I suddenly got all these stretch marks on my lower back, butt, and breasts. But on my belly, no stretch marks to be seen hehe. I started slathering myself with oil from the second trimester onwards (twice a day)... maybe that helped. But I never thought to apply oil to the rest of my body either. Oh well, I guess it's just part of the process

Hey,
I already got stretch marks at 2.5 months. I don’t even understand why, because I hadn’t gained any weight yet. Now I’m 33 weeks and the stretch marks keep slowly but surely showing up. So here’s a zebra

No stretch marks here yet. I didn't have them during my first pregnancy either. I hope I get spared for the next few weeks too... -

Here I’m lucky and don’t have any stretch marks yet, but I do feel like my belly is becoming less smooth, so I’m afraid I won’t make it to 40 weeks. I do apply the Etos Mama Cream every morning after showering, so hopefully it helps a bit.
Irma, I’ve had an extremely dry face throughout my entire pregnancy. I guess it’s part of the package, but beauty is subjective, right!? Long live good makeup, otherwise I’d be walking around all day with a face full of red spots. -

Hi! I'm replying again, I had email notifications on so I've been seeing my replies for quite a while now ;p. I had replied before when I was still pregnant, the stretch marks were just starting to appear then, and unfortunately they got worse in the last week of the pregnancy (38 weeks)! I try not to let it get to me but of course I still find it really sad...
By the way, I also had a lot of dry skin at the end of the pregnancy! I had really red, flaky patches on my face, which I found absolutely terrible, especially with my job (I'm a makeup artist so it's a bit embarrassing...). What helped me fantastically was the Vitamin E serum from The Body Shop and the aloe vera cream (also from The Body Shop). Now after the pregnancy my skin has changed a bit again. I don't use the aloe cream daily anymore, but I still love the serum!! xxx -

I'm now 33 weeks and 4 days pregnant and discovered my first stretch marks the day before yesterday after showering. I had a burning sensation on my back... and yeah, the first stretch marks are there. So far, none on my belly yet. Hopefully, that'll stay that way.

Getting stretch marks is also hereditary...
Not everyone gets them... unless you've gained a lot of weight in a short time!
The best thing you can do is apply cream, apply cream, apply cream, from day 1 of your pregnancy!
I'm now 30 weeks and apply it on average twice a day, and so far I've been spared stretch marks! -

I’m slathering myself on like crazy, my breasts already have their fair share of stretch marks, and yesterday I even spotted some early ones forming on my side... It’s not exactly cheering news, but there’s nothing I can do about it. I just keep telling myself that I’ve got plenty of fat and skin on my side, so it shouldn’t be happening there
Luckily, the rest of my belly isn’t there yet. -

I apply it about once a day. Every morning after showering.
I'm now over 36 weeks pregnant, and still nothing to see, so I hope it stays that way! But you never know, of course. It's nice either way, but the little one will be fine in the end.
By the way, my mom didn't get any stretch marks after 3 kids, so I hope you're right that it's also hereditary
