Overdue and negative test
LenteGuest ·
Hi
I have a question and I hope there are people here with similar experiences. I stopped taking the pill in November because we really want to get pregnant. Since then, I’ve gotten my period every month, fairly regularly (31-33 day cycles).
Now I’m 14 days late, but my pregnancy tests are negative. I’m not feeling nauseous, and my breasts aren’t tender. I did have a fever last week and have had period-like cramps in my lower abdomen for 2 weeks. I called the doctor today, and they said I should wait another week.
If the doctor says so, I’ll do that, but it makes me really anxious and unsure. I’d love to be pregnant, but if I do get my period, it would also be a kind of relief. Then I wouldn’t have to worry every day about what it could be. Has anyone else experienced something similar?
