    Hi Aradia,

I don't have experience with this. If it's just red, I'd put Sudocrem or something similar on it.
If there's discharge coming out, I'd have it checked out.
    Good luck!

Yeah, I wouldn't wait too long to see the GP during pregnancy. You can always refuse medication if you prefer not to, but I find it just too close for comfort, which gives me the jitters.

I hadn't even thought it was so 'close' I cleaned it again with cooled boiled water last night before bed, and today it's almost gone again. I'll definitely keep an eye on it, and if it comes back, I'll ask the doctor for advice ^^

Is it not an umbilical hernia?

I wouldn't assume that! Those are completely different symptoms, aren't they?

I did ask the doctor for advice after all. She said it's absolutely no harm to the baby, my belly button has nothing to do with it, luckily. It was fine to keep it clean like I always do. Sometimes it could be a fungal infection, so if it really keeps coming back or gets worse/doesn't go away, I should have it checked again

I suddenly had issues with my belly button too! Until about 15 weeks into the pregnancy.
I thought it was a harbinger in hindsight.
    Love,

Hi, I have a question. My girlfriend is 6 weeks pregnant, and she has an inflamed navel. My question is whether it's harmful to the baby.
