Help my fiancé is pregnant

Hello pregnant women and childbirth educators,
My fiancée Eva is now 12 weeks pregnant with our super-wanted first baby. For the past 4 or 5 weeks, she's been struggling severely with nausea and an alarming lack of energy. She can't work or even manage a little walk to the supermarket. When she walks from the couch to the kitchen, she often has to catch her breath and feels exhausted afterward.

I admire how she's handling this, and I want to do more to support her. That's why I'm posting this.

Right now, she's really struggling mentally and feels like she's the only one going through this. I'd love to ask every woman here who has experience with this to send her a supportive message to cheer her up. Would you be willing to help my lovely fiancée by sharing your experiences or sending her a kind word of encouragement??

Thank you all in advance for your help!

    Hi Kevin33,
I had the same thing as your fiancée. Nausea like crazy and extremely tired. Could sleep all day long. Felt lethargic and had no interest in anything. Really not fun! But: it will get better. From 14-15 weeks it got much better for me. I'm currently 19 weeks and feeling better in my skin.
Being pregnant is really not to be underestimated. I can advise your fiancée to listen to her body. If she's tired, take a nap and she doesn't have to feel guilty about it at all!

Spoil her. Try together to figure out what stays in when it comes to eating, and let her just relax. It'll get better on its own.
