I wouldn't wait either, go straight to the hospital, play it safe!

Do you mean going to the ER or insisting on an appointment today?
Well, I read everywhere here that severe and long-lasting abdominal cramps are not a normal pregnancy symptom..
    Got a little scared

If you have an ectopic pregnancy or think you might, you MUST call right away!! This can be dangerous!
  4. Petrapj #24

I’d call again if I were you and keep pushing for answers! Brown discharge is often not a good sign, but really painful cramps aren’t either either.. Keep us updated?
  5. Bar #25

I called again, they said I can go right away.
Will let you know.. please keep your fingers crossed that it's not serious

I'm rooting for you, Bar! Wishing you lots of strength and please let us know how it went!

I have to be admitted... the gynecologist sees fluid/blood in the uterus but no embryo. If it's not better tomorrow, they're going to do a laparoscopy. I'm heartbroken

Oh dear, that's so sad! Do you need to be admitted tonight or wait until tomorrow? What a bummer! I can totally relate. Hope it turns out okay in the end!

Wow, that's pretty intense! But it's really great of you to have gone after it. Hopefully, they'll find the cause soon and it'll all turn out okay. I'm rooting for you.

Yeah, I'm already in the hospital. They're thinking it might be an ectopic pregnancy or ovarian torsion. More info after the laparoscopy tomorrow. I hope if it's the torsion, the pregnancy can still stay intact...

    Sending you lots of strength.

Bar, that's awful! You could never have anticipated that beforehand. Have they figured out what it is by now? Sending lots of strength, and I'd love to hear how it went!

Bar, do you have any news yet? Hope everything is okay with you

    Hi!
Back home from the hospital. So it was an ectopic pregnancy... luckily they were able to remove the embryo without having to remove the fallopian tube. It was exactly 6 months ago that we had to end our previous pregnancy due to the CMV infection... day for day. Makes you wonder... will it be a good third time for sure?!
  15. Jenny00 #35

Oh Bar, big hug for you!
What sad news that it went wrong after all. I'm glad your fallopian tube wasn't damaged. I wish you a healthy pregnancy soon.
  16. nietmeeractief #36

    Ah, that's bad news.
    Wishing you lots of strength.

Oh wow, that's really tough Hopefully, you'll have more luck soon! Are you being monitored extra closely now because you've had an ectopic pregnancy?
  18. Petrapj #38

Oh my goodness, Bar!! That's terrible.. Are you managing to process everything a bit?

    Hi everyone!
The threads have been removed today. On July 17th, I’m having a foam ultrasound to check the patency of the fallopian tubes... and apparently (!!) this gives you a higher chance of a successful pregnancy. Has anyone had experience with this?
    Greetings!

That's nice to hear, Bar, that things are moving forward again. Hopefully, everything will be okay with your next pregnancy; it hasn't been going your way so far, has it?
