Nathalie
Hey, good morning!
I’m Nathalie, 23 years young, and I have a lovely boyfriend who’s 29. We’ve been together for 5.5 years now and both want kids.
We live together in a nice corner house with our pets and have decided we’re ready for the next step. (So exciting!)
I’ve been thinking about it for a while now, so I’m super excited about it! ^.^

I ordered folic acid tablets, ovulation tests, and pregnancy tests yesterday, so we can get started right away!
Unfortunately, my periods are quite irregular, which might make things a bit trickier, so we’ll just have to wait and see how long it takes. But hopefully, we’ll be able to share our happy news soon!

Good luck! It's nice to have such an enthusiastic message.
    I hope you'll succeed soon...

Thank you! I hope so too!
But I've also decided to enjoy the whole process, it would be nice if it works out the first time, but that chance isn't that big.
So just keep trying and make the best of it!

The chance is indeed not very big.. So it's good that you're going into it a bit relaxed..
Do you want to start with ovu tests right away or first try a bit?

We'll start taking ovulation tests right away because my periods are pretty irregular. Sometimes my cycle lasts 4 weeks, other times 5, so it's pretty hard to estimate, unfortunately!
If I calculate the average, I'd probably ovulate around the 12th. I might not test every day, but every other day around those days or something.
Let's see if I can spot it!

Yes, exciting... We'll read it if it works out, hope so

Once it's official, of course the whole world needs to know
It's going to be tricky keeping it secret from family and friends until 12 weeks!

I think my mom is going to go absolutely wild. She's been talking for years about how much she'd love to become a grandma!

Aha, good that you don't have to keep it a secret for everyone for so long.. And maybe you'll get lucky.. Most dating scans are already around 10 weeks now and if everything looks good then you can tell people fairly safely!
We're having our dating scan on the 17th and after that it's no longer a secret.

Oh how lovely, congratulations! Sounds so exciting, that first ultrasound!
    Also very emotional I think!

Nice, nice! I'm Lienneke, 25 years old, and I stopped the pill on April 23rd. I'd already been taking folic acid for 2 months before that.
I should be getting my period next week, how awesome would it be if it doesn't show up.. I'm well aware that it probably won't work out right away in the first round.
Shall we keep each other updated?

    Hey Lieneke! Exciting!
Wishing you lots of success, I'll be rooting for you!

I found my LH peak last week, and hopefully ovulated today.
So my due date is the 26th, let's see what happens...

Exciting. I find waiting so frustrating.. hahaha
