testing or waiting? EXCITING!

Lynn
Hi everyone,

Thursday is my NOD... now I can test from 4 days before my expected period... I'm so impatient! I don't know if I can trust my feelings? And maybe I'm also afraid of disappointment! With my previous pregnancy, I didn't notice any difference! Since this morning I've been feeling a bit nauseous, dizzy, and my breasts feel fuller too... what should I do? Maybe your opinions and experiences can help me!

Love, Lynn

    I tested too early last time with Lynn, and my period came a day later. I know it's exciting... But maybe I should wait, otherwise it's such a waste of the test?! I'll wait until Sunday. I'll have my period on Friday....

    Hey Lola, thanks for your reply... I've been feeling nauseous and dizzy in waves for 2 days. I don't have any discomfort anymore... maybe it's all in my head or just a coincidence... ha ha! I also have a test at home that I can do 4 days before my expected period! Haven't done it yet... I think I'm afraid of being disappointed... I'll let you know when I take my test! How old are you, Lola? Love, I'm rooting for us and Nicky

    Hey ladies! I'm 10 weeks pregnant now. I bought some early tests and tested for my AN (expected period). Twice negative. Then, one day after my AN (another early test), still negative. Then I bought a Clear Blue Digital and tested 2 (or 3) days after my AN, and that one was positive So it doesn't mean that early tests are 'better' or something... Waiting until at least your AN (preferably a few days longer) is of course better, but I was also very impatient and couldn't wait, haha. But this just shows you, it can go either way!

    Got up today with really bad cramps... feels like period pain! It's a dull ache all the way at the bottom that keeps going and causes a throbbing feeling in my lower back.
    I feel like I'm about to get my period ....

    Hi Lynn,
    Today is my NOD. I've been feeling like my period is coming for a few days now. Today's the day, so we're both thinking the same thing today...
    Exciting, good luck, hope you don't get your period and if you do, maybe next month.
    Love, Patty

    Thanks ju... Lynn, I suddenly had some cramps last night too and woke up with them this morning. So I really thought, "here comes the red tide..." But nothing... Now I feel nothing again...
    Only slightly nauseous, but that could also be because I haven't eaten much yet....

    I'm actually quite calm about it! Isn't that weird?

    @Lynn,
    I don't know, you should send a message to Brabbels.. My pregnancy is going well.. I'm really dreading the birth... but it'll be fine in the end, I've prepared myself well.

    Birth plan already approved by the gyn.. Now I'm waiting for the results of that yucky sugar test...

    Hang in there girl, wait a bit longer and then you can test. Hope you get a positive test.

    Love and thanks,

    Ju

    Hi Ikke,
    Unfortunately, I can't give you any clarity other than to say that you should take a pregnancy test with a Clear Blue digital test. If that doesn't work, I'd go to the doctor and explain my symptoms.

    Good luck!

    Hi Ju,

    Thanks for your reply!
    Should I test soon or is it better to wait a bit longer? I don't want to test too early and end up disappointed.. I don't want to get too much false hope, but I've read a lot about implantation bleeding and it seems a bit like that, hence my doubt Exciting though

    Hi Aradia,
    That's what we women and ungratefulness... ha ha. I've decided to wait until Friday anyway.. It should work out! Now you'll see again that not every test gives the same result! Congratulations on your pregnancy! Is everything going well?

    Hey Nicky,
    Fingers crossed! I did read that early pregnancy can also feel a lot like period pain! Let's hope so... ha ha

    @Lynn,
    Read the topic in "Gezellig praten geboorteplan"..
    Because it's been 12 years and it's my partner's first, and he's there, which I really appreciate.. But I'm just afraid I've forgotten everything. My first birth didn't go smoothly and took 19 hours, and my second birth took about 6 hours, so much less..

    Yeah, it'll probably be okay, but I'm still a bit nervous..

    Love, Ju

    Hopefully it's implantation bleeding then, but what I've read is that that's around 7 weeks?? I'm not sure either..
