First round of Clomid and Pregnyl - Need advice

Hi everyone,

I’m new here and need some advice.

I had to start this cycle with Clomid. 50mg for 5 days. Today (day 13) I had my first follicle scan. No idea how many eggs there were, but the largest was 10.63 mm.

The uterine lining was on the thin side, but they didn’t go into detail about that. Normally I wouldn’t need a Pregnyl shot, but I ended up getting prescribed one anyway. I’m supposed to go back on April 20th, and the gynecologist hoped to be able to administer the shot then.

Is 10.63 mm small for day 13? How fast do eggs usually grow on average? I always have very long cycles, so I know everything goes a bit slower for me. But I really expected my egg to be quite a bit bigger by now with the Clomid.

And regarding the Pregnyl, when do they give it? And when does the egg release?

    Hi J and S. They're growing an average of 2 mm per day. So getting the Pregnyl shot on the 20th isn't such a bad idea at all. Hope they keep growing nicely!! Good luck!

    I did indeed get the shot on 04/20. On the advice of my OB-GYN, we had to have sex that same day and the next. Now we just wait
