Reflex spray

Hi everyone, I'm new here but I have a little problem... I just read that reflex spray isn't allowed during pregnancy, but since my doctor didn't mention that it's not allowed, I've already used it several times because the pain was unbearable... Is this REALLY bad?

Seems like a good idea to stop doing that anyway! You shouldn't use everything just like that during pregnancy!!!! Especially not in the first few weeks. I understand you're in pain, but it's better to ask for advice from your GP or midwife. By massaging or using sprays that loosen your muscles, you don't just relax your muscles, but you also push waste products into your blood and thus to your baby's placenta. It's strongly advised against during the first 3/4 months!!! Whether it's really harmful now; no idea, but I'd get in touch if I were you

Thanks for the reply, but I used the reflex spray on my GP's advice, so yeah, I thought it couldn't do any harm... I've since spoken to the gynecologist, who said there's no reason to panic, that everything around it looks quite enlarged, and it's not THAT bad, just best to stop using it
