Am I way off base?

Hi everyone,
I had sex 5 weeks ago and 4 days later I had brown bleeding, and now I still have bleeding. Last week I went to the hospital, and they said my heart rate suddenly went up and they're going to look into it further.
On top of that, I have a lot of pain in my belly and lower back. I'm very tired and sometimes feel dizzy.
What I'm worried about is an ectopic pregnancy, or am I way off base?

I have no idea. Have you already contacted the GP or the midwife?
