    Hi hi..
I have a clotting disorder called Factor 5 Leiden..
Which means I have a higher risk of developing a blood clot in the leg or a pulmonary embolism..and during pregnancy, this risk doubles.
Despite that, I have 3 healthy children and a 4th on the way.
I do need to inject blood thinners daily to prevent any potential blood clots...
As for weight, I don’t have any experience, but maybe this info helps you...
    Greetings, ikke

Hi, thanks for your reply. They did tell me back then that if I were to get pregnant, I’d be under extra supervision. I’m really torn because we both actually want it, but we don’t want to put me or the baby at risk.

For me, it only came to light during this pregnancy that I need to give myself those injections..
I had my doubts too, I was afraid I would just stir things up and also for the baby.. they explained to me that it wouldn't harm the baby and that it's only important for me to give the injections to avoid the risk of thrombosis, so really for your own health...
You could also check with a gynecologist about what's wise and not, and ask all the information you'd like to know.
    Good luck. Greetings, ikki

    Hi Margreet,
I’d say it’s obviously best to be in good health before trying to get pregnant, but given your age, I understand you can’t wait years either. I think you should definitely discuss this thoroughly with your doctor.
    Good luck!

    Hi Haasje,
It’s, well, not planned at all. I had just started a diet to make sure I could have a healthy pregnancy later on. So it’s really confusing. On one hand, we both really want it, but we don’t want to put anyone at risk.
