No good news here. One gestational sac was already gone, and the other is already very small. There's also a large subchorionic hematoma that probably explains the miscarriage. I have to go to the OB-GYN this week for further tests and to see if the last sac will pass on its own or if I need some help! It's a huge blow right now, and I'm trying to process it. -

Hi,
I'm Gracielle (Graccia is easier to say). I'm also pregnant with my third child. I have twins who are 7 years old. I'm 37 years old. Today I'm exactly 28 weeks pregnant, yay.
Best wishes -

Welcome!! How are you doing with the pregnancy?
Any trouble (or have you had) with symptoms?
You're making good progress.. I'm only 5.5 weeks pregnant here! How do you feel about twins (are they boys or girls?) getting a brother or sister? -

Hi choco. My pregnancy is going okay. I've been having a lot of back pain and for a few days now, a lot of pressure in my lower belly. My twins (a boy and a girl) are super enthusiastic. -

Hi everyone,
I found out yesterday that I'm pregnant with our third (1st with my husband). I have two daughters, aged 6 and 9, from my previous marriage. I'd love to join in the chat and catch up. -

Congratulations Lay! How are you feeling?
I notice that I still find it just as exciting (and fun!) as with the first and second. Do you feel the same? Or are you approaching it very differently now?
This is really the last one for us, so enjoy it as much as possible! -
Lay88 #31
Thanks!
I feel good! Actually no complaints except a bit of sore breasts.
My previous pregnancy was over 6 years ago and it feels like I'm experiencing everything for the first time. It's extra nerve-wracking now because I had a miscarriage half a year ago. Now I'm always scared every time I go to the toilet that I'll find blood. I don't want to think about it too much but unfortunately it happens automatically.
Have you already made an appointment with the midwife? -

Who all already told that there's another baby coming and how were the reactions?
We can't wait to tell but are very curious because nowadays having more than 2 kids seems to be a bit crazy. -

I have my intake with the midwife on April 28th and my first ultrasound on May 8th. I'll be almost 9 weeks then.
I also find it pretty nerve-wracking to go and tell them... they'll probably be happy, but with three kids, someone will surely make a comment like "where do you even start?" or "it's gonna get hectic."
I'm mostly dreading it at work! On May 15th (I'll be almost 10 weeks), I have a performance review and will most likely get a permanent contract. I'm still debating whether I'll mention it then; we actually wanted to wait until 12 weeks to tell everyone this time. What would you guys do? -

Oh well, you really shouldn't stress about the chocolate.
I'm really curious myself, but I honestly don't care what others think... I'm mostly interested in the surprised faces. -

Haha, I'm also mostly curious and I'm sure the people close to us will find it really nice
It doesn't bother me much what others say, but I know how a few colleagues think about it... so I'm thinking at work about how to avoid weird looks... But I think I'll only tell them after the performance review, since I'll only be 12 weeks then

Tricky with your contract... If you wait just a little longer to tell, you might avoid those sideways glances again. Maybe you can plan it tactfully during your performance review. Just wait until they've told you what they're doing with your contract, then they can't take it back. And then come clean about being pregnant. -

Thanks for your reply... that might just be the best solution! We'll see

Hey, I'm pregnant with my 3rd too!
I'm 32 years old.
And I already have 2 kids. A boy of 10 and a daughter of 8!
We deliberately took so much time in between. I'm self-employed... and now the urge was just too big! And I really wanted my third little one
How are you feeling? -

Welcome, little heart! When is your due date? Do your kids know yet?
Seems pretty special to me with older kids.. they really take it all in consciously with a third one on the way
I really feel pregnant because of the extreme fatigue.. slept with the youngest this afternoon, which is actually nothing for me! In my first pregnancies I hardly had any nausea and now it comes in occasional waves.. But I can eat normally so it's not too bad!
I'm really enjoying it and trying not to worry about what could go wrong.
How are you feeling? How did your previous pregnancies go? -

I'm due on December 15th. I have my first ultrasound on May 10th. It's exciting. But I'm hoping things stay okay this time.
I had a miscarriage in January this year at 11 weeks and 5 days pregnant
So, fingers crossed.
With my son, I wasn't nauseous at all.
With my daughter, I was "vomiting" nauseous, with throwing up as well.
And the last pregnancy (which didn't work out), I was even more nauseous than ever. Throwing up twice a day.
So far with this pregnancy, I feel pretty good. Which sometimes gives me a worried feeling. But I'm trying to enjoy it anyway.
We haven't told the kids yet. They said after the last time, that they only wanted to "know" about a new pregnancy once I had the 12-week ultrasound. And it's a bit safer that way.
They were really down in the dumps. Just like me.
But well, I'm trying to stay positive. So everything will be (hopefully) okay.
Choco, I see you're not really nauseous either. That's nice, that it can be like that too
Have you had an ultrasound yet?
