Trying to get pregnant with narrowed blood vessels
S89
Hi everyone,
My husband and I have decided to go for our first baby. We’ve been together for 11 years, so it’s about time ; )
I’m familiar with vascular narrowing (high cholesterol) and I take blood thinners. My GP advised me to wait a bit before trying to conceive and to first speak with a gynecologist. This is partly due to various tests I’ve had and because of the blood thinners I’m on.
I’m wondering if there are other women with vascular issues who want to get pregnant or have been pregnant? What can I expect from the gynecologist, the pregnancy, and the delivery in relation to my blood thinners and vascular narrowing?
I hope that, despite vascular narrowing not being pleasant or ideal, there are women who can share their experiences with me.
Googling hasn’t helped me much.
Thanks in advance!
