Hi ladies,
I've never chatted on a forum before, but I thought maybe this could be a good fit for me. I'm currently 12 weeks pregnant with our third child. We have two girls, one aged 2 and the other 5. Between my two girls, I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks, and both of my girls were born prematurely (34+1 and 30+1). Both pregnancies went well otherwise. But now I'm so anxious that something might go wrong that I can't enjoy it and I'm feeling really down. Plus, I have a lot of back pain, which I've already been dealing with a lot, but it's already making work tough (I work in home care as a caregiver). I'm sleeping poorly and just not feeling comfortable in my own skin. I feel a bit like a nag because I can't quite put into words why I feel this way, but I'm just pretty depressed. Any tips? Any experiences?

Love,

Tip 1 talk to your partner, or if you don't want to do that, maybe with a friend...
Tip 2 write it out of your system in a journal.. The important thing is that you let go of your feelings..
Tip 3 take a day off from everything and everyone and do something nice for you and you alone.
Tip 4 if nothing else helps, maybe it's a good idea to talk to a psychologist. (the chance of postpartum depression is not nice)
Also, huge congratulations on your pregnancy and I hope you'll have a nice pregnancy

Don’t blame yourself; not everyone is a glowing pregnant person. Hormones can do crazy things to your body, making you feel like you’re not yourself. Try out Lotus’s tips—I can’t add anything to that.

Try to take it easier at work. Talk to your boss about what you can do to lighten your workload. Maybe work fewer hours, have less rotating shifts, or handle lighter clients. Keep in mind that your employer is legally required to protect you at work during your pregnancy. Try to find something each day that brings you joy—for example, when you feel the baby move later on, try to enjoy that sign of life.

Congratulations on your pregnancy, and hopefully, you’ll feel more like yourself again soon.

not being scared, easier said than done...
with my first pregnancy I had acute fatty liver disease at the end of my pregnancy... something that happens to women once in a million and I was the lucky one... I can tell you I still suffer from it... I'm pregnant for the 2nd time now and I notice I have fears.
but before I got pregnant I had a burnout at work, I really worked 40 to 50 hours a week and still had a household, kids, everything, but I did everything for a great future for my family... that's what I thought at least, but what I really did was flee from what happened to me.... and not thinking about why I......
I could really write a book about this but I won't make my story too long for you
what I want to say is, my burnout is, stupidly put, the best thing that ever happened to me, I finally started working on my past, I'm seeing a psychologist, a great woman, and I've started EMDR and girl if you've had a really bad birth or pregnancy in the past you're left with things, EMDR is the solution for this, I'm giving everything a place.
what is important though, is that you can't do EMDR during the first 12 weeks of your pregnancy, but you do need those weeks to tell your story because that's where they start from.
a tip, do something about this
and rule number 1: if work is too heavy for you, if you can't handle it right now, don't think about your boss, don't think about the child growing in you, think about yourself first because if you don't do well for yourself everyone suffers, your child in your belly, your beautiful miracle... your other children and your partner. and believe me that's absolutely not worth it so take the step, think about yourself and work on your past to get a great future
I should have taken this step much earlier but it's never too late
