Period after birth

Hi everyone,
3 months ago I gave birth to my second baby via C-section. I'm still breastfeeding with occasional bottles in between.
In the meantime, I've already gotten my period once, but now I'm almost 2 weeks late. Does this happen again? Could it be due to breastfeeding? I'm a bit worried because I forgot to take my pill once, took it the next day, and also took the pill for that day before going to bed.
Has anyone else experienced something similar?

    hey, i'm currently breastfeeding for 4.5 months and had a light bleed 9 weeks after giving birth, and nothing since then. so it can definitely happen while breastfeeding. otherwise, take a pregnancy test to be sure. i did that too because i was worried (one period, then nothing more), but it seems normal while breastfeeding.

    Happy to help! I don’t know if you’ll be posting more on this forum, but I feel like there aren’t many replies here. I also posted a question and it’s been viewed more than 300 times now, but still no responses. Did I do something wrong so I’m not seeing the replies, or do people usually just not reply here? Sorry to interrupt your question, but I thought “yes, someone’s active behind their screen” hihi.

    And yeah, I’d definitely wait a bit longer. I’d say enjoy it as long as you’re not on your period. hihi

    If you're breastfeeding and taking the pill, you're definitely on the mini-pill, which you take every day. With that one, your period can also stop.
    I breastfed my son too and didn't get my period for the first 6 months, then started on the mini-pill. Even then, I didn't get my period for a while. (Unfortunately, after that, I had continuous bleeding for 4 months due to the pill.)
    But if you're doubting because you forgot to take a pill, I'd definitely get tested.
