Very faint line on the Clearblue test, is this positive?

Hi everyone!
I was supposed to get my period yesterday, but it hasn't happened yet. This morning I took a Clearblue Plus pregnancy test. After 3 to 4 minutes, a very faint vertical line appeared. It's hard to see, but it's definitely a line. (See photo) What do you think? Is the line too faint, or does this mean I'm pregnant?
Thanks in advance! Best, liesje99

Hey Liesje99, I can clearly see the second line on the photo too, so I think you're pregnant Maybe test again in a couple of days? By then, the line should be much clearer.

Hey Liesje! I see him too, and that while the CB isn't that sensitive; I'd say throw a herb test in there too, that should definitely be clearer!

I had exactly the same thing with the herbal tests. Then I did a Clearblue and it popped right out. Maybe there wasn't quite enough hcg yet. But there was a clear second line. Congratulations!

@sneeuwvlokje: so I'm not imagining it, I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing it. And in a few days I'll definitely test again, just to be sure, but I don't have the patience for it
@Nonnii: indeed, Clearblue tests apparently aren't very sensitive, so I think I'm probably pregnant now. Which test is the most reliable to double-check? And when should I test again?

Kruidvat test 2 for 5 are good. Sensitive too! Cautious congratulations

I couldn't wait, I already used the second test I bought, a Life Test. The pharmacist said that one is less sensitive than the Clearblue test, and that I should wait a few more days with it, and I should have listened better. White result window, so a negative result. Now I'm completely confused. I have an appointment with the GP for a blood test soon. Hopefully, that will give more clarity.

Good that you have an appointment with your GP. Your blood test will quickly show whether you're pregnant. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

The negative result of your second test today is probably because you didn't use first-morning urine. It's always recommended to do pregnancy tests with first-morning urine since it's more concentrated. So maybe you just drank too much during the day, and that's why your second test was negative.

I just got back from the doctor. I need to call tomorrow morning to ask for the results. So exciting!!

Are you sure the line is clear enough? It's confusing because when I tested this afternoon (not first morning urine), the other test (Life Test) was negative. But yeah, the Clearblue test is definitely positive, even though the line is really faint—you have to look closely to see it. But a line is a line... I'll know the result of the blood test tomorrow, then I'll be sure.

A line is a line, and the darker it is, the more hCG there is. But if you don't use first-morning urine, it's less concentrated and has even less hCG in it... I had this with two Kruidvat tests, and the next day with a Clearblue, it was perfectly clear!!!

    Do you know anything yet?

Blood test was negative, but I'm still overdue. I did have a little bit of very light pink discharge last night. What could that mean?

How weird, if there's a line, it really means you're pregnant.
  17. liesje99 started this #18

Yeah, I think it’s weird too. What should I do now?
  18. liesx #19

I'd wait for your period to start and if it doesn't, test again

I'm already 3 days overdue. Maybe my period will still come in a few days. If I'm still overdue on Wednesday, I'll test again. It just feels so weird. Clearblue is a very reliable brand; it shouldn't give a false positive, right? The vertical line wasn't super clear, but it was definitely there, as you can see in the photos. I really don't know what to think...
